For all those who believe you can lose your Salvation , it is a heart breaking place to be in , for if we could lose it , why does God call us to His Son in the first place...

You see , our security is in Christ alone , it is no good you being so close to Jesus that your breath is on the palm of His hand , no , you need to be in Him , if you are in Him , you are His , but you people who say we can lose our Salvation , it is you who is in a revolving door , and Jesus is not a revolving door , He is the door , once in , never again will you be a child of satan...

We as sheep graze on the pastures new , the King stands at the door , we have no need to look back , we are secure in our meadow with our LORD , how frightful it must be for all of you who think the LORD will let you go back into the hands of satan , never will this be...

...How can we cast away the Righteousness of Christ , and our faith , our faith is also a gift from God ...
Faith is how you know the gospel of Jesus is really true. That is indeed a gift of God to be able to know the gospel really is true. And it is through that gift of faith that you then trust in Jesus and are justified. We can cast away the righteousness of God we received through the gift of faith by choosing to no longer believe and trust in Christ for the forgiveness of sin.

You are seeing things from your imagination , your faith is in yourself...
No, my faith is in the blood of Christ.
I am righteous in God's sight because, through faith, I trust in the blood of Christ to make me righteous.

22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Romans 3:22

See it?
Righteousness is given through faith.........to all who believe.
Through God's gift of faith we believe. When we believe we are given God's righteousness.
Faith is defined as knowing the gospel is true. Believing is actually putting your trust in what faith has shown you to be true.
Just knowing the gospel is true does not justify a person. Believing in the gospel you know is true is what justified you.

You make it your faith because of this false version. The Bible actually says,

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

I’m relying on Christ’s faith not mine. Even if I lose my faith, His faith remains faithful. Praise the Lord!

No, the heartbreaking place to be in is going back to unbelief. As long as you don't do that you have nothing to fear or be heartbroken about.

It's only frightful for the person who does that.
Stay in Christ where you are protected from satan and do not have to fear.

No, not my faith. I don't have the ability to know the gospel of Christ if real.
What I do is trust in what God's gift of faith has shown me to be really true about Christ.

I thought if you lose your faith you were never saved to begin with.

You thought wrong. Nothing can undo what Christ has done.

Btw, there’s a huge difference between the faith of Christ and faith in Christ. Faith in Christ denotes our faith. Our faith never justifies. The faith of Christ is imputed to one who believes the gospel.

Soon off to bed.
Will wake up in a few hours on Christmas Day.
My family will celebrate it.
Eat a nice meal and exchange gifts.
Sing happy birthday to Jesus.

Your Christmas may be different from ours.
Some may not even celebrate it or agree with how I do.

And frankly I don't care.
We focus on our saviour coming into this world to save us.

Anyway whatever way you spend this day I pray that our Father blesses you all.
Even those who have maligned me, cursed me and accused me.

God bless us all.
He loves you and he loves me.

I'm just saying what Paul said:

"you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off." - Romans 11:20-22

Stay connected to the root by faith in holy fear, and you'll have nothing to worry about.
Try to stay connected to the root on the merit of doing good works? You should be terrified.

Why does Jude warn them if they cannot lose salvation? Why should they CONTEND FOR THE FAITH, if faith cannot be lost?
Because false teachers can still cause a lot of damage. If genuine born again Christians can lose their salvation, then why did Jude refer to them as called, sanctified by God the Father, and PRESERVED in Jesus Christ? In Psalm 37:28, we read that God does not forsake His saints and that they are PRESERVED FOREVER. In Romans 8:30, we read - Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them. (y)

Ah but did not say "Holy" there is a difference between holy fear and fear.
A person who has the wrong concept of fear could be terrified by your post.
Terrified that they try to be connected to root by doing good works, therefore those works save them. If so then faith is irrelevant.

works salvation turns into just sad. i was in a sad state. worrying about if its eating damnation if you dont have yeast free bread for communion and things like that just very small details are life or death. my close family person said she almost died from drinking grape juice communion instead of wine. i still believe she is saved but she is just from a very tough upbringing very harsh religious views. is the kind of person to open up bible today read one verse and thats verse of the week, then next week another verse lolz. she can be really caring person though. i just feel bad and sad for her, she is under lots of unnecessary stress from works salvation

He makes amputations, and so does the Father, when necessary. Ananias and Sapphira found that out, for example.

And if He's the Head of it, then you can be sure it's His body. Most Christians are their own heads. The sons of God are those who are being led by the Spirit of God, not their souls. A disciple of Jesus Christ has to deny that.

I was a good Christian in the past, before I was born again. I was a branch that was going to get cut off. I had a temporary place in the house of God, as Jesus said. I claimed I was free, but I was a slave. Like the herd, I only ever beheld His kindness, never His severity.

I know it's a powerful spiritual force that is over the church at large but why are folks' primarily concerned with their own rear ends? I'm going to heaven, I'm going to heaven, I'm going to heaven. They grasp at it just like their father the devil, Isaiah 14. That isn't the concern of a disciple of Christ. He just wants to be with Jesus and fellowship and worship and serve Him. He doesn't pound the table about eternal security. Eternal security doesn't enter in to it when you read the letters to the churches honestly. It's just fallen, human, unregenerate selfishness. "Me, me, me." "I'm fine, I'm good."

All sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say disaster will not meet or overtake us, as the prophet said. And God, "I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." Their leaders took the key to knowledge away from them: the Fear of the Lord. Such Christians do not fear God, obviously. Eternal security in the letters to the churches? Get real.

Everything Jesus taught us was about what we do and everything we do has to come from faith. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears attend to their prayer. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Thank God for the baptisms and the shed blood and the vital Holy Spirit tonight! May His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth just as it is in heaven!

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come! As Jesus said, from our innermost being flow river of living waters. He is Savior. He is also Lord. Amen.

big words

Lord hears my prayers He has answered many times. i like it how you assumed because someone believe in eternal security that now it means they dont want to be with Jesus and only want selfish to go to heaven and they are not righteous and dont fear God? hmm

WISEMEN CAME TO SEE THE YOUNG CHILD BORN IN BETHLEHAM

It is time to tell the Story of the Wise Men from the EAST. I really like to tell this story, because it shatters the Myths about the Wise Men. For those who have heard me tell this story before in past years, just bare with me, because there is always people who want hear, who have never heard story with the REALITY of the exposed Myths.

1. Myth number one, is there were only three wise-men.
2. Myth number two, is that they were Kings from the EAST.
3. Myth number three, is that gifts Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh, were only a small amount.
4. Myth number four, is they rode CAMELS.
5. Myth number five, is they did not have a Military Escort.
6. Myth number six, is the Army of Israel was Still in Jerusalem.
7. Myth number seven, IS THE ARRIVED while Mary and JESUS were still in the Stable and Jesus was lying in a Manger.

That seventh one is UNBELIEVABLE, because the ARTIST that Drew the Picture, that we grew up with, and had NEVER EVEN READ the story, while paying close attention to what it actually said:

Matthew 2:1-15 (ESV)
1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,
2 saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
5 They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:
6 “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared. [Herod found out it had been two years since they had seen the star that first night, hence his orders to kill ever male child in Bethlehem, two years and under.]
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.”
9 After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
11 And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures , they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.
13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”
14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt
15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Most people know that the Wise Men were from the TRIBE of MAGI, the same tribe as Daniel after he confirmed that King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, and what it meant, was appoint to be chief governor over the Wise Men.

Daniel 2:48 (ASV)
48 Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him many great gifts, and made him to rule over the whole province of Babylon, and to be chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.

They remembered the Prophecy, while ISRAEL had forgotten it.

Here are a few of the fictitious images, that formed a lot of our false images of the Wise Men.

..

Not only did Artists not pay much attention to the Details in Scripture, but the TOTALLY ignored researching the Tribe of Magi, in the history books. So a lot of the details that I will explain come from the history books about the Tribe of Magi. But in the BIBLE is says they arrived at a HOUSE where Mary and the young Child were. Joseph was a Carpenter and no you for them at the INN only spelled WORK FOR A CARPENTER. His own house, would have been the first things He built.

They were NOT THREE KINGS, they were the Tribe of Wise Men, that some of them hired out to kingdoms throughout Mid East. They were Hired to be their Wise Men, because they had STUDIED EVERY THING THAT WAS CALLED WISDOM AT THEIR TIME. They also conducted Coronation Ceremony of New Kings. They were from the area west of the Caspian Sea and south of the Caspian Sea, and as far south west as Babylon. Wise Men from the east, is general direction, NOT A SPECIFIC DIRECTION, therefore it includes everything from northeast through the southeast.

So the land of the Tribe of Magi, would be predominantly everything west of the Caspian Sea and southern edge of the Caspian Sea. A few hired themselves out as Wise Men, but the majority were focused on was perfect for their major cash crop. No, not grain, but their Tribe raised Arabian Horses to sell to most of the countries in the MID EAST as War Horses.

Now why would men from that tribe ride CAMELS? THEY DID NOT, it never mentioned what they rode in the Bible, that idea was spawned in the imagination of the artists. Not only that, they NEVER WENT ANYWHERE with less than 10 Magi, and with boxes of treasure on board, they would bring a Detachment of WARRIORS of at least a 100 men, know to be fiercest Warriors in the land, to protect the Treasure. Now picture this, ISRAEL was at war at that time, so the ARMY IS OUT OF TOWN, and the only protection for the KING of ISRAEL was his Palace Guard. And in town comes at least 10 Magi, known to conduct Coronation Ceremony's, with at least a 100 Armed Guards, and HEROD hears from the Magi, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?"

And you may say, yeah but there is a great deal of sand east of Jerusalem, how can horses cross that? It does not say they crossed the desert to get to Jerusalem. Artists only imaged it. Up north there is a fertile Valley with rivers, that comes clear across to northern part of Lebanon. That is the direction they would have traveled. Why did it take two years for them to arrive in Jerusalem? They had to ride from Village to Village in their Country to Collect the HOMAGE for the New King, that is their Tradition. That's right, they were NOT BIRTHDAY GIFTS, but Homage to the New King. Gold and frankincense and myrrh is the traditional Homage for a New King, at least one Treasure Box full of each one, for the New King. Enough valuable treasure to feed them in exile until Herod died.

If you call picture ten men dressed like this winner of the Mid East Horsemans Association Horse Show, you may have a lot more accurate idea of what the real Wise Men may have looked like.

1577234584844.jpeg

And like Paul Harvey use to say:
"And Now . . . . . You know the rest of the Story."
