a gay Buddhist. thats what we need on here. some Q and A.
Or would he be cannibalised within a minute?
we had a buddhist here earlier this year for a month or two. sexuality never came up in conversation.
he had several questions as he was trying to understand what Christianity really believes about a few topics of particular interest to him.
mostly people didn't address his questions or take any time to get to know what he really believes. they just told him he was a pagan demon-worshiper going to hell & that he better get right.

he left after a while.

sometimes we're a lot like kittens.
we have some nascent hunting skills. if someone tosses us a toy we make a show of pouncing on it from several directions, biting and scratching and kicking at it, as though to kill and eat. but it's not food, and once we've supposedly '
broken its neck' we don't quite know what to do with it. so we whack it a few more times and stash it under some furniture, then turn our attention to whatever comes next.

Probably shook the dust off his sandals too as he was leaving.

Do YOU believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to eternal life for EVERY person?
Do you believe everyone who has not heard/understand the Gospel, people who live in places where the Bible/Christianity is banned/restricted (China, N. Korea, Saudi Arabia, etc.) go to hell? When a tsunami sweeps across Indonesia, do you think all those people go to hell? In a lot of Muslim countries, Christians are not allowed to evangelize to Muslims. During the exploration age (which started around 1400s), contrary to what a lot of Christians say that if people want to find Christ they will, the Catholic Church learned that people had absolutely no knowledge of Christ when they went to some of these new places. That's hundreds of years after Christ died, and still no knowledge about Christ.

I do believe Jesus will judge all, and all other gods are false gods.

We must not, indeed cannot, determine whether a person is saved based only on their denominational membership.. You would probably conclude that I am unsaved if you judged me by that criteria. Don't even think of asking. If you go to a Church where the people are mixed up, then consider it an opportunity to help them along.
Any time I've heard of a Catholic who got saved, they ALWAYS left the Catholic Church. Just like a Hindu would leave the Hindu religion once he got saved.

Catholicism is not Biblical Christianity just as Hinduism is not. They are both pagan religious systems. Born again people repent of paganism once they get saved because they know the truth.

Don't lump Catholics and Christians in together! You do both groups a great disservice!!!!!!

You do realize that in Genesis, God killed every person on Earth except for Noah and his family right?

And none of them even had the chance to hear the gospel.

You mean like when they pray at church and the keyboardist chimes in for effect? :cautious:
exactly. it's meant to stir up an emotional response. in the more tech savvy churches you'll see all kinds of stuff like that. mellow sounds and graphics playing on the screen in dim light when it's time to sit down and listen, upbeat happy music and bright graphics when it's time to pass the offering plate around.

but it's all supposed to be subliminal and we aren't supposed to notice.

I believe that God is not done with those ignorant of Christ's gift to humanity. We are not allowed to condemn anyone much less relegate them to torturing flames. What will we say to those we condemned if they are with us after all is said and done? I think they will forgive our ignorance. 5thumbsup.gif

We have the the youth "pastor" who gets up there and fast, loud, obnoxious and exciting makes his announcements and tells us how we should be excited. Boy, he sure puts on a show. Excitement! That's what is needed! Finney would be proud!

look if I was attracted to her anything is possible.
they have a kind of born again component which is fascinating.
and their meditation is awesome imo.
======================================================
the 'born again component can be very fascinating to those who do not know Christ
and don't appreciate/honor His Holy-Physical-Sacrifice - this will always be their loss,
until and if Christ calls them in their lifetime or in the second resurrection...

Romans 2:14-15 New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised Catholic Edition (NRSVACE)
14 When Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them

ok. they are Godless in a way. but you would be hard pressed to find a nicer chap than Dal Llama. Not that I want to marry him of course.
If being a nice "chap" was the criteria for getting into heaven then Jesus Christ would not have died on that cross. Secondily, Hebrews 9:27 destroys the idea of reincarnation. "And it is appointed unto men to die once, and after this the judgment. Have a nice day!
