Our main problem is not whether Trump is impeached or not. Our main problem is the division of America. That division has been haunting America since antebellum times.

It's one of my favorites as well. :giggle:

NYT isn't liberal propaganda? NYTimes is Liberal. George Soros, who hates Trump, owns a huge percentage.
The Washington Post is also Liberal.

There are no true grounds for impeachment of president Trump. It's a distraction. And I've said for a long time that there should be something , besides the vote, that the American's these people represent in this catastrophe on parade, can do to stop this. And hold those responsible for this soft coup , sedition, effort accountable by law.
They are the one's that should be impeached from the House.
Well I hate Trump too. A whoremonger, money laundering swindlers or two faced banksters are no better than a homosexuals or Marxists. What's middle of the road to you? Bright Bart is fascist. Fox is conservative propaganda. Besides Wa-Po outed Nixon! 3 cheers for freedom of the press.

I agree about the impeachment.

What particular offenses has president Trump committed that make him qualified to be impeached out of office? Please be specific.

I never said he should be impeached. In fact I voted against it here in the OP. I think it's a waste of time and money! If he can be found incompetent, thats a 25th amendment issue which has never been tested. It's way out of my wheelhouse to judge.. I am against both extremes and will not vote for any party as they stand now. If it's a choice between the lesser of may evils only evil can result anyway it goes.

I misunderstood then your remark, I agree about the impeachment. I apologize. I didn't realize you were agreeing with my remarks about the impeachment. I took your statement to mean you agree about Trump being impeached.

As to the lesser of two evils, yes, I use to say the same thing. I didn't vote when Bush43 was up for reelection, and I didn't vote when Obama was on the ticket for the first time, and I used that same logic.
Then I realized, after Bush43 and Obama were reelected that not getting involved in the vote still makes me subject to whatever evil becomes president. Whether I had a hand in it or not.

What I hope communicates even more to the Democrats in the Electorate now is that after all the hype moving toward impeachment and now that the House has finished with that circus, it isn't actually official.
Which means, Trump has not been Impeached.

I think Gingrich was right. The Left on the Hill knew they had to placate their base. Regardless of the facts of the Mueller report that found no evidence against Trump, the Left on the Hill continue their rhetoric on the record as if there was evidence. Then they go for impeachment interestingly enough using as cause what has been an issue of illegal activity against Joe Biden, a Liberal candidate for office in 2020.
Now that it is all said and done and the hearing is over, the articles are not going to be sent to the Senate. All that time spent, all that money wasted, for political theater.
I hope the American voter remembers this come November 2020. I hope non-bias news sources, like OAN, rehash what happened here and after the Mueller report, so that Liberal voters are reminded of what offenses against common decency and truth were committed by the elected representatives and in their name as Democrats.

And I hope they don't give them another chance to do worse because those empowered by our vote think they will always be in office because we don't care enough, pay attention to their behaivors in our name long enough, to vote them out.

Well I would consider it collusion with the Devil to vote for any pro banker or anti-environmental candidate. In case the Lord dosn't come in my lifetime. I don't want my Grandchildren poisoned by the environment or in bondage to the banks etc. The evils of extreme liberalism are obvious but the destruction of the environment and bondage to the banks and the Beast are here now, but they are more insidious.
Isaiah 24, The Lord’s Devastation Of The Earth

LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants-it will be the same for priest as for people, for master as for servant, for mistress as for maid, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor. (Isaiah 24:1-2)

The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word. The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the exalted of the earth languish. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. (Isaiah 24:3-5)

Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left... (Isaiah 24:6)

Christianity Today published an editorial on the 19th arguing that yes, Trump should be removed.

https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2019/december-web-only/trump-should-be-removed-from-office.html

in response, without addressing anything in the article, Trump & his supporters simply call it a 'far-left' publication, reinforcing an 'us-vs-them' mentality of national division rather than taking a look at the actual issues & evidences raised.

as i pointed out, the response of the worldly partisan 'us-vs-them' crowd has been to summarily dismiss arguments and evidences as having been brought by 'leftist' sources without even considering them.

thanks for the demonstration ;)

we'll soon see the senate do the same thing.

I agree...good to consider all sources.. critical thinking skills, objective analysis, knowledge of both sides ... etc., but let us not be fooled truth is hard to find.

We all form our opinions on the information we receive .. Yogi Berra ''You can observe a lot by just watching'' ..
we also should have the Holy Spirit to help us along the way

'Helper' is actually one of His titles

discernment should be a part of every Christians' armament since we are always in spiritual battle

we are not supposed to be a part of this world...and the world systems

and if you'd like to read a summary of the evidence, you can find it here:

https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20191216/CRPT-116hrpt346.pdf

that was inspired by the devil, encouraged by his little demons and enacted by the human faction of his army

any Christian that believes this was justified has been deceived

and yes I said that

it is the truth and needs to be said often so that those who are hard of hearing may actually turn from the deception and see it for what it is

ANY Christian that believes the works of the devil done through those who voted to impeach must explain why they think killing babies is ok, why letting dangerous criminals loose is ok, why open borders is ok and why taking money from those who work to give to those who don't want to work is ok

now notice I did not say money given to those who really need it but that was supposed to be the job of the church as per the New Testament...taking care of widows and orphans? remember that?

and God confirms in His word that borders are a good thing. in fact, He said do not remove the boundary stone...and Christians should have spiritual borders to keep out the evil

killing and murdering the innocent is also the delight of the devil. each and every child of God should rebuke this evil and expose the murderous spirit behind it

there is so so much that could be looked at but just one more thing

even God says let us reason together yet the liberals refused to give the one they have accused any say which is entirely non-democratic and all of that while they state someone else is ruining freedom and democracy in this country

because the post connects to the false document invented by fools to fool people, I quoted the post

I am not saying all the above to the person who wrote it, but if the shoe fits :cautious:

You are correct. Every Christian (Trump supporter or not) should read this article.

It's time to bring a little moral decency back to the leadership of our country. We have none there today.

this is really shocking to read and think people actually think there is anything moral about a pack of lying hyenas who want power and will turn this country into a police state

haha

enjoy your freedom of thought and speech while you still have it

well what about Christianity today?

as far as the magazine goes, it is in a state of rot and decay, much like the institution it declares to represent

“Christianity Today is a nonprofit, global media ministry centered on Beautiful Orthodoxy — strengthening the church by richly communicating the breadth of the true, good, and beautiful gospel,” proclaims the magazine’s mission statement. “Reaching over five million people monthly with various digital and print resources, the ministry equips Christians to renew their minds, serve the church, and create culture to the glory of God.”

Perhaps this is what it did before. It has now become just another content provider on politics, and of the left-wing sort. The real cost here is borne by readers who will simply shrug off appeals to resubscribe or give the platform a try. Americans are drenched in political conflict, and hundreds, even thousands, of outlets offer political commentary. Why in the world would anyone seek an absolutist political opinion from a website about evangelical faith? The answer is obvious: Most people won’t, and they will steer clear of yet another politicized platform. Has Galli’s column changed a single mind in America, except about the magazine he was supposed to steward?

I don’t know Galli. But Christianity Today has suffered the same long, slow decline that has crippled “mainstream denominations,” and perhaps the idea of putting on a show-stopping exit was just too tempting to pass up. But Galli should have done just that. That he knew this is given away in his perfunctory introductory apologia: “The impeachment of Donald Trump is a significant event in the story of our republic,” Galli begins. “It requires comment.”

But, of course, it isn’t such an event. It isn’t even clear now that the articles of impeachment will be delivered to the Senate, though if they are, the outcome is predetermined. Indeed, it seems likely to me that Trump will be reelected, and it is laughable to say that there is a clear, one-sided “Christian” appraisal of the case for or against the president. In a democratic republic, the people decide, and they will end up giving the presidency back to Trump or to his opponent for reasons wholly unrelated to Christianity Today’s view on the question. Christians by the millions will be on both sides of that election. They did not need, or ask for, this intervention in their deliberation.

“The typical CT approach is to stay above the fray and allow Christians with different political convictions to make their arguments in the public square, to encourage all to pursue justice according to their convictions and treat their political opposition as charitably as possible,” Galli continued, just before he implicitly condemned every Christian who supports Trump. There are tens of millions who already condemn Trump, and tens of millions who don’t. But whether Trump is good or bad for the republic isn’t a theological question. It is a political one.

By injecting Christianity into that debate, Galli inevitably suggests (especially to the left, for whom it is convenient) that people of the Christian faith are, in fact, obliged to condemn Trump and support his impeachment. This is risible. It is irresponsible. It also proved irresistible.
