Yes! Control the emotion is the worst part at all!
 
i just think narrowing the target to only Christian might be too unrealistic and not practical.
 
this is one reason why my 57 year old brother remains unmarried.
his criteria is too strict.
 
In my last relationship my boyfriend makes a lot of joke about my religion. I got so sad about that, especially because i thought that i wasn´t so close to God as i used to be.

This is exactly why you want equally yoked. You don’t want your partner to influence you to doubt Jesus or cause you to stumble. Supporting each other’s Christianity is the only way to go. Eternity matters most.
 
I don´t know God´s plane for my life. Maybe He can put a no christian in my way again, but i´ll always prefer a christian. Right now i´m not looking for a husband, but a nice christian boyfriend. I have never had a christian one and i think it´ll be a great experience.

a too zealous Christian partner would be a pain imo . Good ethical and moral character is what you want. Christian is a bonus ...
 
I made my search for a partner priority 1 from age 25 to 32. i put a lot of effort into it. married at 33.
