I saw something on the Pythagorean math theory that if you catch a half moon in the day time lined up with yourself then take a protractor and line up the shadow from the sun to the moon dividing half point of the moon you can figure the angles at the 3 points which must add up to 180 degrees .. You can't get distance without knowing at least one distance but you can figure ratio of each point to the other such as the sun would be . IOW the sun is about 400 times further away from earth than the moon is from earth .

Well I've heard other reasons, like fallen angels, demonic beings are there and a virtual portal to another dimension is found there, or that the edge of the earth can be seen there. Who knows ?

In other words, that the Earth is flat and not a ball with two poles, etc.

Interesting, I found this website and the second video explains this about the Antarctic, what you're saying. I didn't watch it all or read the entire page but I can see what they're saying.

I don't like you people that try to confuse me with facts when my mind is made up.... You are like the electric company when I payed them with Monopoly money and they still sent me a late bill.....
It flys in a circular pattern within a horizontal geometric plane above the earth that is [at least generally] parallel to the [overall] "flat plane" of the surface of the earth.
