Because she asked how can bear fruit with no repentance?I meant against scripture.
Because she asked how can bear fruit with no repentance?I meant against scripture.
It was the person she was responding to who said you can bear fruit without repenting. She questioned it by putting three question marks after her response, see below. Then she said this man needs more study, meaning he does not know very much.
Lol so you can bear fruit without repenting??? Oh man this needs more study![]()
If he says that, then he does need more study
Yes that is why I answered as I did because this is my experience in Christ; however I try to be prudent in remembering that there is always more Truth to discover in God's Word; in fact none of us knows it all only Him...You do not need to study it, it comes natural to those who are in Christ and Christ in them.
Gal 5:22-26 KJV
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
God bless.
It can take a while though sometimes..... like David/Nathan/Bathsheba....Because they are new creatures,
also
sin becomes unnatural to them, it’s why they can no longer continue in sin, it’s like taking poison it will make You extremely ill, add to that gods chastening, and it’s not gonna happen.
It's good to reason with God though in order to gain understandingI meant against scripture.
Some people have a habit of twisting others words and trying to use their twisted wording against themHe (I) didn’t. It was an honest misunderstanding. I know what caused it, so I clarified my statement
The first sentence is incorrect, because the person she was responding to was me. And I never said such a thing.
I figured out why she responded that way, and clairified my Statement.
The way I understand it is that the fruit they were bearing was demonstrating that they had not repented. So John in effect said their fruit was not meet for repentance.
Not that they had to bear fruit in order to repent. They needed to repent so that they might bear the fruit of repentance, wholly by God’s Grace
Lol well I did question how this could be possible.
I was really saying that I would have to study it to see if this could be the case because I can't see how it is possible, seeing as fruit comes from the indwelling of Christ's Spirit in us.
Niether one of those verses speak of christians
the first verse. Paul says he is afraid for them, that he labored in vein, they were never saved
the send said Christ is no affect to them, how Can one ever be saved if Christ was never an affect to them?
AmenHmm that's good... it made me find thisView attachment 208261

Amen
imagine being pulled up by a rope and almost being saved, only to have the rope severed at the end, God almost pulled you out. But in the end, his grace was severed. They never made it all the way to the end. Because they chose in the end to go to what they rally trusted. The law.
Remember, David was considered a man after Gods heart as a very young man, Bathsheba and Nathan occured later in his life. Which shows even a mature man of God can fall down now one is safe from sin. The worse place we can be is thinking we made it and we are okIt can take a while though sometimes..... like David/Nathan/Bathsheba....
If they Are, then he is right, People can lose savation. These verses do speak of believers.
Paul is worried not for the loss of their salvation but for their loss of abiding in Christ and the loss of the experience of living under grace... not losing the position of grace ... which is not possible.
Yes, I was speaking of someone else ho twisted your words. Not her.Actually, I understand why butterfffly said what she said. It was actually an excellent and valid question that I attempted to answer in my last post
Sorry, But Not everyone there was believers, If they were. Paul would never insist they were trying to be justified by the lawSorry EG there is no almost being saved in Galatians.... they were believers in Christ
Yes that is why I answered as I did because this is my experience in Christ; however I try to be prudent in remembering that there is always more Truth to discover in God's Word; in fact none of us knows it all only Him...
God bless you too![]()

Once again, Not everyone in our churches are true believers. Paul was directing his words to them. Those wh had not yet made the leap to true repentance and faith. Easily decieved by the false teachers.
A person who truely came to the knowledge of CHrist and understood the gospel coue not be tempted by these judiasers.
