But there is a difference can you spot it?
Takes me back to secondary school and doing year end exams.
The guy say next to me in a geography exam told me to let him look at what I had written and if not he would beat me up.
So I did.
When the results were read out both him and I were given 0 marks.
Both of us asked to remain at the end of the class.
"One of you had been cheating, which one of you?
I want gonna say him.
So the teacher gave us a bit of paper and asked a question.
As a result he determined it was not me but him.

if those who have an issue with a Chrismas tree I don't hear anyone speaking out of the Idolatry in games like Football, Basket Ball, Soccer, Golf, Car racing, BaseBall, and Tennis.
There is not even a context to Jesus in any sport played YET people spend time money, and devotion to the watching and playing of them. They even worship the teams who win.
they give Money, Crowns, Statutes, and high praise and titles.
people dance shout raise hands to celebrate with all their might and will fight to defend their god( team) if anyone attacks them.
But have something known as a Christmas tree is the devil and idol worship? At Least the word Christ is in it and the context is originally is done in remembrance of The Birth of Christ. NAME ONE sporting event created for the glory of God and not a man?

I am not sure what you are asking but I don’t want anything from anybody.
Amen about how we elevate sports. Sports in general aren’t wrong, but our attitude towards the athletes can be wrong.
But How does a tree honor the birth of Christ? I admit, we put up a tree out of tradition, but when we’re putting it up and decorating it, my thoughts aren’t on how this honors the Lord. Just being honest.
if you don't want a christmas tree, then don't put up a christmas tree.
if you don't want to put up lights, then don't put up lights.

Isn't it strange that in today's world there is such objections to what God asks of us, like celebrating His plan of salvation for us with the feasts, we would rather do it our own way with Christmas. And isn't it wonderful that God sends the spirit of love to us all at Christmas. Just think how many statements are made of good will and best wishes.

Christmas is not Christian or biblical. When did Jesus teach this MAN MADE TRADITION? If you want to celebrate it you can do as you wish. But be clear it is not a Christian tradition. It is a man made tradition derived from pagan worship.
We must seperate ourselves from the world, not be so entangled its hard to tell whos a Christian and who is secular. All for the sake of christmas spirit. The world hates Jesus, why would they really be celebrating the birth of Jesus, when they hate Jesus. The bible tells us the world hates Jesus. You can look on tv, politics, or the media and see how much people hate Jesus or Christianity.
The lukewarm "church" looks like a joke celebrating with the world. If you need a chance to share about Jesus or share your faith that should be everyday. You dont need a holiday for that.
Can someone please provide scripture that mentions "christmas" or what that even means? Its clearly a man made tradition and its not Godly. I believe December 25th is actually the winter solstice and the day of the sun god worship. Christmas trees were introduce by martin luther? Who ever hes supposed to be? Hes not in the bible nor was he mentioned as someone to be a prophet who speaks for God in regards to adding to scripture.

The same scripture that mentions driving cars, flying in air planes, watching TV, listening to radio, using the internet, and literally anything modern. If we apply your logic here the Amish are too worldly.
Literally the words trinity, nor is the term the, "Lord's supper, or communion" are not in the Bible. But they are demonstrated, just as Christmas is demonstrated in the story of the birth of Christ; wise men giving gifts in honor of Christ, and Shepard's with Angels and singing songs to honor Christ. So we give gifts to Children because, how do you give gifts to Christ? by giving to the least of his brethren, and we gather and sing songs about Him and to honor him, Which is literally what the word Christmas means; gathering to or for Christ.
As for who is Martin Luther? You clearly do not know anything about church history. If you reject him and his teachings you had better throw away your Bible, and get a Latin Vulgate or even better learn Hebrew and get a Torah and either go back to Catholicism or further possibly eastern orthodox. He is the one who brought the idea of translating the Bible into the languages of the people, and for all effective purposes caused the Reformation that allowed people in Europe to break away from Catholicism. As far as him adding to scripture he didn't, he made it available to the masses. As far as him inventing the Christmas tree well that's debatable. This is what happened, Martin Luther, the 16th-century Protestant reformer, first added lighted candles to a tree. Walking toward his home one winter evening, composing a sermon, he was awed by the brilliance of stars twinkling amidst evergreens. To recapture the scene for his family, he erected a tree in the main room and wired its branches with lighted candles. They liked it and it spread he wasn't trying to create a new tradition. That happened organically. Nothing pagan about it.
No one and no one ever in history said he was a prophet, nor has he changed scripture unless you count translating it into common language.
I recommend a study of church history so you can understand how we got where we are.
This is a legend is it not? Even so, Christmas trees are not biblical. The only thing the Lord told us to remember is His death by taking the Lord’s supper, as often as we will.
If we choose to remember the Lord’s birth, we should be careful to honor Him in everything. If you think a tree honors Him, put up a tree. If one thinks lights, stockings and mistletoe honors the Lord then by all means.

As for trees being unbiblical, literally if you are doing anything other than praying, taking communion, or studying scripture, or listening to a sermon, you are doing something unbiblical. Because the Bible literally does not cover anything we do in modern culture. Typing a message into this forum is not biblical.
Unbiblical is when the Bible states not to do something. Not biblical just means the Bible doesn’t address it specifically. We should use caution. As Paul states in Colossians, And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Jesus was not born on December the 25th.. So i do not celebrate the Birth of Jesus on that day.
But do i Exchange gifts on December the 35th.. Yep
Do i sit down and enjoy the company of my extended family and have a great lunch.. Yep
Giving gifts is a good thing and having a good meal is a good thing if we give thanks to the LORD for it..
So i have no problems enjoying the day because i do not celebrate it as the day of my LORD's birth..
This sounds legalistic and absurd. Seperating ourselves from the world means hiding in a cave according to your logic. You need to read scripture. You make silly arguements that are unbiblical. You suggest to throw away the bible if i reject martin luther?? Who?? CARES! Bro u serious right now. Ur not a christian youre a lutheran correct? What a joke. Seriously.
