Complete opposite of what it says.

It says God does not save us according to our righteousness, but according to His mercy. It also said “He saved us”, past tense of the word “saved”
God is not at all merciful to those who, at the end of their life deny his 100% sound doctrine; the only merciful place left for these people is hell.

@JadenS, if you have to have 100% correct doctrine about what the bible says and what it means in order to be saved , then nobody can be sure of their own salvation. This is not the gospel of the Lord Jesus. God's grace is for those who place their faith in Jesus and look to Jesus as their Savior. The gospel is Jesus came and died on a cross and rose again the third day that those who receive and believe on Jesus may be saved.

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise again incorruptible: and we shall be changed.
Glorification. The final phase of our salvation. But spiritual resurrection comes before physical resurrection

That is why I will not take that chance.

Stop feeding the goat people.
It has no interest in discussing.
The angry emojis are starting to creep in.

So as Jesus said.

Matthew 7:6
6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

That's sound doctrine from Jesus himself.

Obedience to God is true freedom.
Now that’s something I can agree with. And we obey God, because we have been raised to spiritual life.🙂

Spiritual resurrection is God beginning the good work. Glorification is God finishing it. Phil 1:6

We have been saved. Spiritual life and justification, positional sanctification

We are being saved- kept by God, progressive sanctification

We will be saved. Glorification.

I do not like people calling our Lord's doctrine manure.

@blue_ladybug
Remember it was you saying a few weeks ago not to feed the trolls ?
You are giving him/her a good munch ;)
He may not be a troll, but if he isn’t, he just needs to read Titus 3:5 and recognize the tense of the verb “save”, and you all have given him plenty to think again and re-examine.

I still find it amazing so many people hate the doctrine of Jesus Christ and actually think they will get to heaven in this condition; The only place they wil be saved for is hell.
