of coffee and donuts
i put my spiritual pursuits on hold
Im savouring that first bite
And first sip of gorgeous creamy latte
Life is good
the simple

I noticed your eyes were rolling
I thought it was a stye
Besides I know my stories
Are the apples of everyone's eye

Its not that I want to bore you
But there's a sound that I adore

I've never heard that word
I hope it doesn't mean
My stories are absurd

Wait, I looked it up
It isn't very nice
But I know that I'm not one
I'm devoid of every vice

I know that some don't like me
They think I fail the test
I know they feel inferior
Because I am the best

I will bring the Advil
Whatever help will please
So that you can enjoy my stories
Without pain in back or knees
