Is this thread still going?
Amazing.

This is my take on my own questions.

The parable on the talents and the parable of the Sower have the same intent: to show that
God is gracious to all his cretaures, he feeds the lions in their den, he sends the rain,
the warmth to swell the ground. This called providence - God provides all thing to sustain life.

Have you ever wonderd why animals take care of their own young, love them, feed them even
give their life to save their onw kind. It is God's grace.

There are basically two types of grace:
1. a general grace called common - meaning general; given in different degrees to all men and even the animal kingdom.

2. there is a common grace given to people who live in Christian societies and/ or attend church, they get a blessing
from mixing with God's people, they benefit from a Christian society. These first two cases the people are never saved.
They live productive and happy lives, they acrue goodness all their days but never thank God, never truly saved,
not
born again of the spirit. They fall away

and die in their sin. They may appear good people, behave

impeccably in
public, but their hearts do not praise God or give Him honour, these are referred to in the bible as dead., they are blind
and deaf to the Word, their mouths are silent and never open in praise. They may sing the psalms, but it is just lip service.

3. There is another grace given by God to His people, special effectual saving grace. You see it in Ezekial. I will take away
your stony heart of man and give you a heart of flesh to praise God and do my commandments (paraphrasing).

Once armed with the new heart, this gift is not merely offered it is implanted and without any permission of the recipient.

He/she is implanted with a new heart, the old heart is discarded.
The person is then led by the Holy Spirit into the way
of
salvation and eventually or straight away, changed in conversion.

Conversion means repentance of sin.
An abhorrence of sin, a turning away from sin, a new life, a new creature. And will never fall away, not true repentance.
Because it is God that saves, not us alone, but God. Although we do cooperate in the work of salvation. nevertheless
the penalty has been paid, we are seen a righteous. Isn't that glorious, it is Amen.
Would you clarify what Is meant by "not being of HOLY SPIRIT they fall away" I was wondering how do you fall away from something unless you have It first?

Also, when you mention effectual saving grace Isn't the Spirit of just men made perfect by GOD HE does all the work and we have to believe, and salvation then Is eternally secured?

sounds like you are saying we HAVE to work for salvation.

Yes you made my point very clear. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT! Do you understand my point?? You dont have any reason to be giving your carnal opinion to Spiritual truth! Do you understand that?? Your words are all carnal and offensive. You speak from your flesh. You can read Galatians 5.
Thank you, that's always been my point, I do not have the Holy Spirit, nor have I ever claimed to have it. I wish I did, and I wish that I was humble and faithful enough to receive it, especially while reading the Word, and expressing my views about God to others. But, nope, thoughts are all my own, I speak solely from my own mind. And thus, I hope that everyone on these forums questions my opinions, questions my motives, my maturity, my wisdom and everything else that is required when attempting to discern truth from falsehood, wisdom from foolishness, what is inspired and what is not.
BTW, I read Galatians 5 just to refresh my memory, sorry, didn't see the relevance off-hand?
But these verses might be useful to some?

1 John 4:1
4:1. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Matthew 7:22-23
7:22. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23. Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Jeremiah 14:14
14:14. Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.
Ezekiel 22:28

22:28. Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'-when the LORD has not spoken.

You asked two questions:
1. Not being of the Holy Spirit means they were given grace by the HS, but not in abundance, that is common grace
Not having been born again, they fell away from what they did have. The man who had one talent lost it all,
he was given a small measure, but it went, he fell away like the seed that fell in shallow ground. If a person
does not have the new heart then he will fall away from what little he has.

2, The spirit of just men is perfected by the holy Spirit, don't forget the HS is GOD. The HS forces no man, but when a man
has a new heart, when his old heart is changed to a heart of flesh, when the ground is ploughed up, then the whispers
of the HS teaches a man. remember Paul went into the desert of Damascus to be taught by the HS for three years.
Now Paul was a Pharisee, he knew the Bible inside out, but he did not know how to interpret it properly, he was instructed
by the Holy Spirit, as you say perfected. This is how Paul learned that the new testament was a better testament than the old
the old way done away with and a better testament in his blood, not by works but by faith in Jesus.

Hope that helps. :)

Brother if you wish to have the Holy Spirit let us pray for you to receive it. It is a good thing for you to desire the Holy Spirit. We need it as believers, it is the first installment of the promise God has given us of eternal life. I will provide some scriptures. God bless you bro. Im here to encourage you in your search for truth bro, reach out and ill be of assistance.

Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 “You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead?12 Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! 13 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

2 Corinthians 1:21 It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.

As for Galatians 5 it speaks about the fruits of the Holy Spirit as well as the fruits of the flesh. That was for you to judge for yourself. But you have rightfully admitted you do not have the Spirit. But the Holy Spirit is promised to His children. This is what He says on what is required.

Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority. 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead after you killed him by hanging him on a cross.31 Then God put him in the place of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior. He did this so the people of Israel would repent of their sins and be forgiven. 32 We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.”

John 14:15 “If you love me, obey my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

You ever fall in love with a girl? Be all head over heels madly in love? Or how about just straight sprung over a girl? It would be in this way to have a person you love, and fall out of love or fall away and go to someone else and forget your first true love. That is falling away.

To know the riches in Christ and His mercy, and be tempted and stray back to the world and fall away. It is adultery against God. And the bible says adulturers will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

Jeremiah 3:1 “If a man divorces a woman
and she goes and marries someone else,
he will not take her back again,
for that would surely corrupt the land.
But you have prostituted yourself with many lovers,
so why are you trying to come back to me?”
says the Lord.
2 “Look at the shrines on every hilltop.
Is there any place you have not been defiled
by your adultery with other gods?
You sit like a prostitute beside the road waiting for a customer.
You sit alone like a nomad in the desert.
You have polluted the land with your prostitution
and your wickedness.
3 That’s why even the spring rains have failed.
For you are a brazen prostitute and completely shameless.
4 Yet you say to me,
‘Father, you have been my guide since my youth.
5 Surely you won’t be angry forever!
Surely you can forget about it!’
So you talk,
but you keep on doing all the evil you can.”

Alright, much appreciated TLC, ...I'm still very wary of those who make certain claims, and I find it imprudent.

As you should be. There are so many deceivers and people who have their own understanding. Thats their flesh, why would I want to follow another mans flesh?? That leads to death..

When we have the Holy Spirit that leads us to truth, and the same Spirit that lives in me lives in all the saints in the body. So you cannot deceive the true church. We definitely must be on guard against the devils devices. But I can tell you Stained did not speak deceitfully. And im sure he felt discouraged after some of the words he received here from people who he should have been accepted by.

Jesus tells us if He was persecuted hated and killed, we too will face the same. Because we are not of this world. But we can rejoice and count it for joy, for all the blessings we will receive when we finish the race. The crown of life.

Until then encourage one another, love one another and be not harsh with one another, forgiving eachothers offenses.

Because you can fall away. The doctrine that says once you are saved you cannot lose it is false. That is why if you apply false doctrine it does not align with scripture. All scripture aligns, scripture does not contradict itself.
Can the Incorruptible seed become corrupted by the flesh?
The bible says that we are BORN AGAIN of
Incorruptible seed.

What Is SPIRIT IS SPIRIT and what Is flesh Is flesh.

Maybe you mean the flesh can be corrupted but a Christian would not go back those who have been born AGAIN of Incorruptible seed (talking about born of the SPIRIT of GOD) WILL seek to purify/match/perfect their bodies/flesh to the new creation they have become.

You can see the flesh but you cannot see the Spirit.

Incorruptible seed is Jesus Christ. He had no sin. His Father was God. That is incorruptible seed. Our seed came from our fathers which are human and have sin as their very nature. So we are corrupted seed. Jesus was born of a virgin as proof He comes from incorruptible seed.

Not sure what you are implying? Please ask again... if you have scripture to add as well would be helpful.

Why try to answer my post with softball responses If you do not understand what I'm saying?
Read my post again and ask me specific questions so that I can answer your questions. And so I can use scriptures that help you understand better what I'm saying and then we can run a useful discussion.☺️

The incorruptible seed of Christ, as the Son of God our high priest continually without mother or father, beginning of Spirit life or end thereof. Dwelt in a corruptible body signified as sinful as that Jesus inherited from his mother as mankind. God is not a man as us.

Flesh gives birth to flesh as one kind (the temporal ). Spirit give birth to spirit the other kind . (the eternal)

The man who was given one talent dug and buried it
because he said he feared the Lord
The one talent was taken from him
and represented faith,
why was faith taken from him
and he left worse of before he had been given it.
If he was left with no faith then hell is his destination at death.
Faith as the power of God does equal one talent or one penny in the parable of the field. It equal salvation. By burying it makes it to no effect. Watering it with the doctrines of God can cause growth if Christ has first established it. Then as you said...hell is his destination at death. No faith coming from God's three day labor of love as the penny wage . . . no salvation.

The talent clearly represent a gift from God.
That is why in every day language a talent represents a skill, a craft, an ability.
The parables of our Lord Jesus are metaphors and the believr must search them out for teir spiritual meaning
because God says he will hide the things of Salvation from the unbeliever.
The parables meant nothing to the Jews, they make no sense to the unbeliever.

It is only when God opens the heart of man that he can see, and hear and praise God.

The parables are divine instructions from God through Jesus Christ His only son.

Romans 1:2-5
King James Version

2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

4 And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
The incorruptible seed of Christ, as the Son of God our high priest continually without mother or father, beginning of Spirit life or end thereof. Dwelt in a corruptible body signified as sinful as that Jesus inherited from his mother as mankind. God is not a man as us.

very Interesting Insight I don’t know but It sounds good to me.

The parts that I underline are the parts that was turning the wheels In my mind.

The parables of our Lord Jesus are metaphors and the believr must search them out for teir spiritual meaning.
I was thinking that Christians can understand spiritual things and should have an answer for the unbelievers.

Would you clarify whether you are talking about salvation or are you talking about renewing the mind to the new reborn creation the person has become.

Salvation should not be a process gained little by little but Is Immediate.

After salvation we should present our bodies a living sacrifice.

No power after the corrupted flesh (birth) .

I am not denying rebirth. But am denying that God is a man as us. Some according to the one time demonstration did know Christ after the flesh .But it was after they had been born again from above . We do not know God any more after the corrupted flesh as if he was a man to begin with. (yet now henceforth know we him no more).

No power after the flesh. Jesus of his own flesh says it profits for nothing. It is the work of the unseen Spirit that does profit.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
