It's the time of year when most people , Christian or not, talk about what they are thankful for. Thats exactly what this thread is, because theres never a bad time to give glory to God for all his blessings. What are some things you are thankful for? I know most everyone will say Salvation, Family, health...ect. Theres nothing at all wrong with that, we should be thankful for those but I wanna hear the little things too.

Today I'm thankful for my job, its helped me take care of my family while my dad is battling cancer.

I'm thankful for a warm home to sleep in on this cold night.

I'm thankful for the good friends I've made here over the years.

The only thing I will say at present on being thankful...is that Thanksgiving is a biblical concept. Something that we should all, despite those that see this as a humanistic holiday, be mindful of. Romans 8:28.

I agree, thats why I wanted to make this thread... so we can all just tell a little about what we're thankful for.

well...when asked a few years ago (maybe 5).

I said clouds. Because that legitimately is one of my favorite sky decorations :)

I will think on something a little more serious...but I am serious. It is my favorite decor.

Do you immigrants to the uSA reconcile with the native americans who let you live on the land?

Like do you have a meal together. I thought that was the idea of thanksgiving.

In the Bible its the Lords supper and we always give thanks for the sacrifice He made so we could live forever in the heavenly kingdom he has promised us.

Time with friends who live far away (like other side of the world far away).
Good health and coming from a good family that gave me a good foundation for being a functional adult.
Internet and getting a good internet rate for another year.
Living indoors and fuzzy blankies.
And that pumpkin roll cake recipie I found because it's delicious and easier than making my own pumpkin rolls.
Oh and this was the year I finally got to meet seoulsearch in real life and we had a wonderful time.

I'm wondering why this thread wasn't started a month ago, at Thanksgiving. ;)

Thanksgiving used to be my family’s favorite holiday to celebrate... I have mixed emotions actually about holidays. Selfish I know, but as I get older, the thrill of holidays is gone and is replaced by stress and anxiety. This just happened over the past 5 years or so.

Buuuuuut...the one main thing I’m thankful for is I have my son to celebrate with, I have my mom and my brother with me this year to celebrate with... and my loving husband who’s been there with me through all the rough times I’ve had recently, apparently it’s not all fun and games with a pregnant woman during the holidays cause hormones are always on the rage lol. 😏🤷🏻‍♀️😆

And I'm just thankful that Miss Cinder didn't toss me over to the sharks, quite literally, because she could have.

However, that would have taken all the fun out of it.

After all, isn't that what the dating sites are for instead?

In all fairness, I never saw any sharks during our time together, but even if I had, I know that most sharks don't randomly attack humans. Jaws just gave them really bad press.

I have tons to be thankful for. So many I don't even think about because they are simple things that I take for granted everyday.

Ten years ago I wouldn't have said what I'm going to say now.
I am thankful for my pastors. They came alongside me in a moment in my life when I much needed what they had to offer, caring and love in simple actions, even though I had only met them once before then and never thought I'd see them again.

I am thankful for the time I had with my best friend.

I am thankful for the hard things I have been through, am going through and will go through in the future. God is working in me and growing me.

I am thankful for God's grace because without it I would just wither and die.

I am thankful for caring and dedicated teachers and school staff that sincerely look out for my children. They are a blessing.

I am thankful for the parent/ teacher conferences where I get to hear about a whole other person than I see at home.

I am thankful for God's providence.

I am thankful for answered prayers, even when it's not what I had hoped.

I am thankful for the many people who have helped me out over the years.

I am thankful for parents that I can be bluntly honest with and love and pray with me.

I am thankful for the friends that I have made here, and that they reached out to me.

Thank you!

I am thankful for memories.

I am thankful for snail mail.

I am thankful for the beauty that surrounds me where I live.

I am thankful for extra time with my parents.

I am thankful for my sisters.

I am thankful that we have hope in the Lord.

I am thankful that the Lord never leaves us.

I am thankful for friends in unexpected places.

I'm thankful that we're finally getting some cold weather. I had to wait patiently for it....and when my air conditioning broke down not long ago when it was still hot outside....that didn't help. I hate the heat.

We don’t really celebrate thanks giving but I am thankful for;

Life that God has given me
My family, especially my parents and that they are still alive and well
My friends and networks that have helped and continue to help me in my walk with Jesus ❤️
My job that God has blessed me with
Provision
Living under a roof
Being able to have food every day (I am grateful)
People God has placed in my life as positive role models
Living in a safe Country
The way God has made me 😊
