A leopard cannot change its spots. This thread is directed at women and has nothing to do whatsoever with men. This has been a typical modesty thread in a respects in that in places the blame on women for enticing men by the way that they chose to dress.
As I posted previously, If a bit of cleavage sends a guy into lust, he has a huge problem, not the person wearing the clothes. If we took that proposal to the nth degree, wine would be banned, fast cars would be banned, we couldn't go to the beach anymore etc etc. Its up to the individual to control their urges.

Hey bro, why'd you make up a false post about me? you know what im talking about..

Also Lust is a man and a womens problem, so modesty includes both sexes.

The only person seeing a little cleavage is that woman’s husband. His eyes only. I certainly don’t want my wife showing a little cleavage for other guys to see.

BTW, that false quote, that Gregoryp, made about me, now i believe has been deleted (i reported it), so no one jump on my back, saying where is it.

The most important thing, that all christians need to agree on is this: that Immodesty is a sin against God and neighbor, regardless of all the talk that happens on these forums.

Jeans are a BIG issues today, alot of these "jeans" are actually immodest clothing according to the bible, when you say these jeans FIT you perfectly, do you mean they are tight?
Hey, Lita is one very special girl no one really has any business taking shots at.

7, as uaual is a hoot -
but, I can't really believe that there are 'true-Christian' claiming such, that would
feel comfortable exposing their -sacred-flesh', just because they 'think that it is OK,
with the world and then secondly with Jesus???... -
do you all 'really believe that your Saviour condones you exposing & offering your Holy Temples
to this wicked-would??

God forbid!!!
1JOHN 2:16..
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Amen, the world is indeed a wicked place and being the Saints we must shine Both the Light and Love of Jesus Christ through our lives and conduct. It is indeed shameful for Christians to be dressed like the world in lewdness, the problem is pastors are starting to abandon the faith in the name of a wicked love and not upholding the Lordship of Christ in there churches.

Something BTW, if anyone is reading this, you can contend for in your Church, in love and truth seek to bring this issues to light.

This is WAY more important than people realize, there is even warnings in the bible about causing people to stumble.

Flint,
Bible is Bible, nuff said: when we are led to share the scriptures, then we have done our duty and shined our Light...
:):)

It's a question Ghoti2, not a shot, it is a question that i asked with love in my heart :) Don't assume things :)
"Hey, John, have you quit beating your wife ?" is only a question, too. So I assume you would agree that wouldn't be a shot? (That's just a question.)

What was even the point of a question like yours to be asked of one of the sweetest people on this entire forum?

And, Flint.... I apologize to you for reacting so sharply when it is obvious you had no ill intent, It's just that there are a few people that I feel a bit overly protective of...…….. and it was me, not you.

But... just in-case a misinformed person comes on here, and starts jumping to conclusions, i was talking about her Jeans because she was talking about them, so i asked her a question to see what type of jeans she was wearing, since tight Jeans are a big one today for hiding immodesty.

I have to do this so that people dont turn this into a thing.

All good brother :)

Agreed. Shouldn’t there be a clear distinction between what a man wears and what a woman wears?
Where is that in Scripture?

If you can't tell whether a person is male or female by their clothing, there are other clues. If you still can't tell, you don't need to. What a person wears is between that person, their wallet, and God... within the bounds of modesty.

Oh... that's where this all started. Oops.

I think the concept is found beginning with hair, 1 Corinthians 12.
