One of my chikdten, aged just 1 at the time, poured boiling water all over herself. The burns were horrendous and deep as you can imagine. The two doctors at the hospital said she would be in hospital for weeks and scarred for life. We went with her in the ambulance to the specialist children's burns unit.
At this time 200 people in church prayed for her.
She arrived at the burns unit. "There has been a mistake these are just superficial burns". Me, my wife and two doctors all imagined the deep burns apparently.
Didn't take any photos though.
Burns are hard to tell if they are as bad as one thinks if you have not seen them very often. The two doctors at the hospital made a mistake which is not surprising, but then you did a wise thing and brought her to a specialist who knew what he was looking at, so why are you surprised. Whats the more lightly situation that the laws of nature where suspended in your favour or that the two doctors made a mistake when initially analysing the burn.
