What country is the best to live in?

Well I might say Australia. But then I am curious about countries like Denmark and maybe Finland. They seem to have very good health and retirement systems. maybe unemployment insurance too. But weather wise it is hard to beat Australia I admit. We do have droughts and floods. Severe drought in some areas here right now. Water and feed needs to be trucked in, in some places.
Ive only been to England and Ireland once and never mainland Europe. it must be interesting to live so close to other countries. Just the multicultural buzz alone.
I think I would like America but to be honest the gun culture frightens me. I just don't understand the mindset. Canada is barren but very spiritual I suspect. Canadians and Aussies might connect well. Self deprecation culture? Dunno. Just guessing.
 
I love living in Canada. I love the diversity of landscapes, the humour and there is no getting away from the fact, that for me, it is home. I can't say which country is best as there is no one country that everyone would find as perfect. They are all filled with people, lol.
As for how spiritual a person is, I don't know that I even understand the question. No one really knows another person's true relationship with God. There are a lot of religions and forms of spiritualism so how do you quantify things? We have plenty of churches but faith, is and always has been a rarer thing. I am grateful to be free to go to church and not live in fear because of my faith. I pray that no matter where you live, you find that it is the right home for you.

I've been to Canana. Canada is a beautiful country with great nature, friendly people and diversity! I don't think When it comes to weather, Australia would be better.

I don't think Canadians are so spiritual. Not much.
 
I don't know what "the gun culture" is, I know we are citizens and not subjects and we have freedoms that include the 2nd amendment of our Constitution insuring our right to keep and bear arms.
Above and beyond that we have the freedom to participate in shooting sports with other good citizens.
It isn't the way the anti-freedom press propagandizes about America.

sorry. guess I'm too easily influenced by media beat-ups. I have been once. I took a group of students to Sacramento for a couple weeks for homestays. they were learning English at a local University.
