I have always said that the embest thing one can do with another human being, guy OR gal, is to sit down and talk with them, really talk with them...and listen to them.

Lol I do the same usually. People are so used to staying to themselves though, some people don't seem to understand why you would be talking to them. A lot do though.🙂

More are willing to acknowledge you if you do engage!
I've had total strangers show me family photos in line....lol
I believe there is basic Good in the majority of people!

Well, I have never had that happen, but had some good (albeit short) conversation with people. Once I started talking to a lady about the kielbasa she was going to buy and out on the conveyor belt thing...
