It is plain and simple and right to the point
and there are NO exceptions no matter what whatsoever at all.

The doctrine of Christ is the only Salvation of God.

1 Timothy 4:16
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them:
for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself,
and them that hear thee.

Ask yourself this question.
What is this doctrine that you can save not only your own self
but others that will hear you?

2 John 1:9
Whosoever transgresseth,
and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.
He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ,
he hath both the Father

and the Son.

The doctrines of man will lead a person AWAY from God!
We are cautioned to NOT be tossed to and fro and carried about by winds of doctrine.

Therefore if there is a caution, there is a danger!

He is my ONLY source of doctrine.

If I can't back it up within the word of God,into the trash it goes!

Being that you and most all others have or have access to the word of God
ask yourself why is it there is so much division among people on this forum and
with most all believers on earth?

I think it is bc the enemy is seeking to destroy the word of God applied in people's heart and lives!
Also bc people like sin! It is easy!

If folks truly lived by the scriptures, those that say they are the faithful, there would be NO divisions among His bride.

That being said " This" has been going on since Jesus returned to the Father.
Paul wrote many words to caution them about their salvation walk!

The World IS WATCHING at all times to check us,buy WE are toooo busy checking one another instead of lovingly edifying!

I can agree with this!
No one is spiritually in the same place!
We are all individuals and God teaches us at different levels!

However we must become as little children as Jesus said !

Ask yourself this question
could it be because of the word of God
this prophecy

Matthew 10:34
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Ask yourself this question
what would people have to learn
that would not cause division among themselves
as they learn at a different pace the word of God?
Hmmmm, good question.

if you or anyone figures that out, i bet someone would disagree.

I believe that verse speaks of division amongst believers and nonbelievers. I do not think Jesus came to bring division among believers.

Ask yourself this question how this can be so when

1 John 2:27
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you,
and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth
you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

If you sincerely came with a thread to inquire and stir us up to moving closer to God and fulfilling His love in one another .....GOOD!
But I'm sensing another agenda.........

Your question is fine, TDOR, but you didn't say exactly what the doctrine of Christ is? ...this is the reason that there are many divisions amongst Christians, is that they each define the Gospel in different manners. That is, the Gospel of Christ is extremely profound, and that the Bible is, in essence, rather difficult to interpret correctly, throughout. To the point, that i find that the worse exegetes are those who claim that it's easy, '...one just must read what it says...'. Wisdom is required, some are more wise than others, ...not to mention one's views change in time, as they study more.

You were safe to say that the Gospel of Christ saves, and that it saves all who hear it and believe, but not entirely. Does Mormonism save, or Jehova Witness, or Reformed, Anabaptist, Lutheran, Arminian, Pentecostal, Methodist, Roman Catholicism, ...? I would say, some yes, some no.

Before I answer you question, or show approval to your initial comment, my question is, which Doctrine of Salvation are you professing?
Thanks!
