For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died!(2 Corinthians 5:14)

he never "FORCED"! He gave Jonah,Paul,John, any others a reason to do as He directs! Just as you would give instructions to a child, and when rebellion comes, there may be consequence s! You and everyone has free will, for if not why choose God? He wants us to choose to love and serve Him!
Show me where in the bible, it says that those who do not persevere to the end go to hell.. You can't, cuz it's not in there.![]()
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess sounds rather COMPELLING to me......!
i know you have been told by shiny clean people behind pulpits in nice looking clothes that God is too 'gentlemanly' to ever impose His will on a sovereign human being, perish the thought, and i know that feels very polite and sounds rather admirable. i am sure that you felt good about hearing it.
but what i am wondering is if you ever took that idea and compared it to scripture? have you ever thought about it and considered whether it was really true, or if it just sounds nice? if you have, i'd like to hear where you can see that in the Bible. this is a discussion thread - if you have some evidence or reasoning behind the popular statement you parroted, could you share it? maybe we could talk about it? maybe we could use this website for what this website's actual purpose is?
i'd like that, if we could.
thanks![]()
They will wish, they had persevered unto the end, for all eternity.Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess sounds rather COMPELLING to me......!
