God said not to murder. Do we have a two faced God who ordered these things, or is man making God the scapegoat?

Murder defined as killing of the innocent. Was it murder when God flooded the Earth killing almost everyone? Was it murder when Moses and God got to the final plaque and the killing of all firstborn sons?
If all are evil and cursed then God's timing of judgment is just. Even if it wasn't judgment it is still God that decides who lives and dies. The only way we are living is God's sustainable power. Even when evil strikes it is still God who can let the death occur or provide a miracle.
I'm reacting to a previous post but many people feel like the sin at Meribah was Moses' only recorded mistake besides what happened prior to him being sent to Egypt.
The definition of murder has evolved over several centuries. Under most modern statutes in the United States, murder comes in four varieties: (1) intentional murder; (2) a killing that resulted from the intent to do serious bodily injury; (3) a killing that resulted from a depraved heart or extreme recklessness; and (4) murder committed by an Accomplice during the commission of, attempt of, or flight from certain felonies.

I was an Air Police Officer if a suspect wouldn't halt and surrender or attempted to escape my orders were Shoot to kill. not to shoot unless I intended to kill and never allow a trespasser to escape. It was better to accidentally kill an innocent person than to allow a possible spy or saboteur to escape. Would I have comitted murder if someone walked past the "No Trespassing. Use of deadly force sign authorized" sign? Or disobeying my order to halt?
Num 31:6-18 KJV
(6) And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

(16) Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

(18) But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
There is a get-out clause, can't remember for sure, where the military can kill, otherwise every single soldier could be charged with murder.
But then this is mans law isn't it and the Ten Commandments do say not to kill.
If the Lord commanded it then you have a problem with God and his ways.
So tell me if the midianites had sinned repeatedly against God by chasing false gods and continually caused trouble for Israel then is God's judgment unjust? Generational curses follows mankind. So none are without excuse. God judges all but judges differently according to age, mental understanding, natural revelation or faith in Christ.
Technically God wanted all of them to be killed but due to disobedience they brought back captives. And Moses let the female girls live.
This is the question. What does God the Father who is spirit want with gold, jewels and other earthly riches that rust and rot away. Furthermore, how will giving money to the I AM save their souls. Can we buy salvation? Or is this an earthly Lord like we have in the Houses of Parliament?
Num 31:48-54 KJV
(48) And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:
(49) And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.
(50) We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
(51) And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.
(52) And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
(53) (For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)
(54) And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.
You mean Romans 13.
(4) .... But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
I reckon Moses should have been put to the sword for all the evil he did. Neither can I believe the I AM commanding anyone to do evil. This would destine them to hell from which Christ came to save us. God is the one who has power over life and death.
I was aware of that from Joshua thankfully...it is a curious question but one that I can't really discuss without delving into Kabbalah in some fashion which I'm not sure isn't the same thing as new age occultism. So while I have certain theories on why instruments were made in a particular way, my information is incomplete...I think he has not said. It pleased him to do so.
The temple was ornate also. What was the purpose of that? That's a good place to start, or at least I have...
Anything regarding physical wealth unfortunately I don't feel prepared to discuss at present, especially as it is quite late for me. You have brought up a palette for a long winded discussion that I would like to have but I'm not sure where we would get. I'll keep it in mind though. If anything online in text format it might not be possible for me. In a flowing conversation possibly. Certain things I find it unproductive to talk about leaving large gaps because they can't really be interacted with in a way that doesn't lead to more vagaries. It comes down to trust sometimes and thinking outside our humanity. To be more spiritual minded and less fleshly (not saying you are necessarily) but when people die of natural causes I have heard people have issues with that also. So that can potentially factor in.
