Jesus fulfilled the law for righteousness sake. Jesus destroyed the power of the law to condemn by atoning for mans sins on the cross. By grace all Jesus did and all the Father accepted is imputed to you.

How did Jesus fulfill the law
By meeting all of the Law's righteous requirements, which mankind is unable to do. Just to be clear, Jesus came to fulfill the Law and bring it to its closure for those who believe.

"Now Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes"

How did Jesus fulfill the law
In your title you say that Jesus broke the Law, and now you are asking about how He fulfilled the Law. You can't have it both ways.

If Jesus -- who gave the Law -- had broken one iota of the Law, He could not have become the Savior of mankind.

And now it's too late to change your title (unless you ask the mods to do so).

No need to change the title
He broke and fulfilled it.
But you have to have an understanding of scripture, and you can't get it through man. In darkness the treasures reside

The cross dose not happen if he broke the Law.
Only an unblemished, perfect sacrifice is acceptable to the Father.
Your understanding of Scripture is lacking.

no no

he has a special understanding that the rest of us common folk do not have and he is going to enlighten us all

in another thread, we were informed that 'Christ' is not a name. it is an anointing

Christ is a noun of course and anointing is a verb, but I learned that type of thing in school so special power of understanding will override that fact every time

Christ does mean 'anointed one' but that is also a name....also Messiah...but pay no attention to that

confused yet?

and speaking of treasures, I just found this one, a thread all on its own, entitled 'No who is Christ'

although I am wondering why he capitalized Christ if Christ is not who but what?

Jesus the Christ
Christ is a what not a who,
From the word salvation translated messiah.
Greek translation christ
Maybe Jesus would respond more to you if you quit praying to his gift

Maverich, Could you please enlighten us all?
I'd love to see where you're coming from.
A single example of Jesus breaking any of the 613 laws of Torah would suffice.

Now think for a second! How could Jesus have broken the law when He is sinless? 1 Peter 2:22, "Who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth." Or Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a high priest who cannot synmpathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, YET WITHOUT SIN." I highly suggest you take some time and read Galatians 3:10-14.

IN GOD THE SON,

7seasrekeyed,
I agree with you that "Christ" is a title of Jesus, and not His name. But we ought to capitalize it because it is referring to Deity (Just as i capitalized "His" in the first sentence.

Okay first I am still impressed with how this chatroom is more about tearing Down than building up.
Christ if you pray to christ you are praying to his gift not to him
The christ in us is the hope of glory. Feels like I'm teaching Sunday school
Number 2
Did Jesus break the law
Yes 7 times he healed on the sabbath. Keep the sabbath holy, do no work on the sabbath. He healed the man with the withered hand, in front of the pharisees.
He touched a leper ceremonially unclean
He announced he was the son of God think that law 2
Do you really think he went before caiphas and the sanhedrin because because his name was Jesus.
He went because he made a mockery of the religious traditions
Kinda what I'm doing

To continue.
Definition of sin hebrew
The mark in the center of a target for archers.
Why did Adam fall didn't listen to his father.
What's the greatest commandment.
Love God with all your heart
Jesus obeyed his father even unto death.
He didn't want to do it.
Thus by obeying his father he fulfilled the law
The laws he broke were the laws used to drive you to your knees.
The hebrews of the wilderness, much like many today, believe they only need God in a support role.
And that is why there is so much hatred amongst so called Christians,
Because your scared
In your shoes I was also

Breaking religious traditions is not breaking the law. The law had been and is misinterpreted by the rabbis. Jesus said on the sermon of the mount, "you heard it said but I say" showing that the teaching of the law was at that time incorrect. He was not changing the law but correcting it.
If Jesus the Christ had broken the law God could not except the sacrifice no matter who it was. He would of not risen and we would not have any hope.
