It was there...see imagine yourself in the deepest part of the sea in the night....what you see? Nothing but darkness...that water was without form and void...no sea creature yet...then God divided the water on top and bottom....the midway is the firmament or heaven...then the water at the bottom he gather them in one place and from that gathered water he formed the earth...on the third day that is the only time he formed the earth, but still part of the beginning.
About lucifer fall i have answered that in earlier post.

Where was Lucifer’s throne?

Since there is no darkness in God, why would He create the earth in darkness? The darkness had to come from a result of sin.

We also see in the Bible that darkness is never a good thing. See Luke 22:53, Acts 26:18, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 6:12, Colossians 1:13-14, 1 Thessalonians 5:5 and 1 Peter 2:9.

In Revelation 22:1-5, we see that God will make a new heaven and earth and there will be no darkness at all. In fact, there will be no need for light because God himself will be the light. When God created the earth in Genesis 1:1 it was exactly like the creation in Revelation 22:1-5, full of light and no darkness.

I do not think you are following....God formed the earth from gathered water. And he formed it after he created the light

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

In your interpretation, when did this take place?

That is why when do you think is the beginning?

When God created the heaven and the earth.

I think you’re equating the beginning with days...

Genesis 1:1-3 are in sequence. Verse 1 is not merely an overall statement.

The gathered water was what overthrew the world that was because of Lucifer’s sin.
Come into your senses bro...
The angels habitation is in heaven jude 6.

What i know,
1. Lucifer is a latin word not the hebrew word .
2.in Job...satan was going to fro to heaven and earth..
3. In 2thes the son of perdition did the same.
4. Satan was finally cast into earth in rev 12 and into the pit in rev 20.
5. And he did sin from the beginning...
Again when is the beginning?

Gen 1:1 is the general and the rest are the specific (detailed)

Sorry, the scene in Job 1 took place on the earth. Satan hasn't been in heaven since his fall spoken of in Rev. 12: Which was way before the Garden of Eden. What is your first language watcher2013? If sure isn't English.

The anointed cherub Lucifer had a throne. By the time we get to Adam, Lucifer had fallen and become the serpent.
