I’ve been suffering from anxiety disorder for over 3 months. It all happened with stressful events that happened throughout the years. But the reason I think I couldn’t hold it in anymore was because the love of my life broke my heart. I don’t even recognize who he is anymore he changed & became such an awful person. That it breaks my heart! Please say a prayer for me. tomorrow I have an appointment with a hypnotherapist (my 1st time) to see if she can help me with my anxiety since it’s taking a toll on me 24/7. I’m in such a bad place in my life. Thank you all and God bless you!

Hi sister AyeAna and I will pray that the Comforter, our Helper, will send you healing words right from heaven.. When we put too much dependence on another person, we can be let down. Jesus is our source of joy, for He is the One who made a way for us to get to heaven.
There was a time almost a year ago when I was in distress and the Lord was gracious to give me a word that healed my grief. God does tell us not to be anxious over anything. I think that's because He sees things from an all-knowing perspective and when you trust Him, He will bless and help you through.
Father God, I pray the Holy Spirit will send a word to AyeAna and heal her as you did for me, and thank you for your faithfulness in Jesus' name, Amen.
I have you in my prayers, God will help when we ask.

Hey Ana I've been through it too. I know exactly how you feel.
I think you never get over your perceived love (or first love) breaking your heart. People used to say to me 'you will get over it', but I don't think I ever will. Time does heal the pain. I researched advice on how to get over him, like destroying photos or whatever (I never had any personal photos of him), but I can still see him on FB if I look him up. I won't contact him even though I have his all his phone numbers & emails, as it's too hard for me. It gets better with time, but you need to be kind to yourself and try to just stay out of stressful situations for a wee while. Do lean on your close friends or talk to a counsellor, family member or a pastor. I found writing was a good way for me to get my feelings out, and I took up exercise a bit later on. Or if all else fails, hug your cat or dog, or go out and buy one to hug, (or even a stuffed teddy bear)!
My prayer for you:
Dear Loving Heavenly Father, please look upon Ana with love and kindness, & help her with all her anxiety and her struggles at this time. Give her comfort and the strength to get through this extremely dififcult time for her. Amen.
I hope the hypnotherapist helps but please just be careful, as hypno's can put ideas into your head that shouldn't be there. I'd personally take a friend/family member along with me to monitor what the therapist is saying & doing.

Thank you so much for the advice. Means SOOOO MUCH to me. You have no idea. I have a few friends but I don’t really open up to them. I’m always there for them but it’s always been hard for me to be open. I’m very blessed to have my parents to help me through this difficult time. It’s very hard to give up on the person you love. But that person gave up on me and hurt me in such a cruel way.. not once but twice. My heart couldn’t handle it and got this anxiety disorder. Which I like to think it’s all temporary. I’ve always been strong and would hold my feelings in. (Trust me I’ve been through a lot during these last few years) but I’m blessed to have a community like this to help me out. So again I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
