For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.1 Corinthians 4:20

Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” Romans 3:4

He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. John 7:18

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6-7

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:11

god should be praised, thus everything should be as he is.. love, serve, and sacrifice for those you love.

he is the perfect example, and no only that, his son gave us the example of how it is carried out, he is the exact representation of god, and he is God

So there are some people who did not need jesus? Because they fulfilled the law by obeying every jot and tittle?
No, you need to see the bigger picture of how Jesus came to make a way for cast off "Lost Sheep/Northern Kingdom (not Judah and Benjamin and Levi) to become His Bride again. Without recognizing this you cannot fully contextualize any of the NT.

Hello and Good Middle of the night, no sleep till this gets done apparently.

My starting and ending position on the Bible is" it is the perfect Word of God" and all must conform to that. I do not believe Paul was self appointed. I believe he was struck down. I believe he teaches on 3 levels and that is why his writing is hard to understand, for all three levels. Peter giving him credentials also, is good enough for me.

I can only tell you "the most fitting" explanation to me, because I don't really feel convicted or "led" anywhere on this subject right now but Paul say

1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
1 Corinthians 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
1 Corinthians 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weakI am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

I think it speaks to the times. Titus, not going to be on the road with him, Tim going with him, and to places heavy in persecution from the Jews. Thank you for pointing me in this direction, I had never thought about it before.

Matt 15, we are going to have to have different thoughts about this chapter for right now. I have gone over and over it and I see it as I wrote it. I do not see it as a "hand washing" the chapter. I see it as traditions of man "pure and simple" ( hand wash) and "traditions of man making void the word of God" (corbin) and when turning to the multitude telling them "defiling is done from what comes out, not what goes in". (physical vs spiritual) and backing up what Paul said.

I hope to now go back to sleep. It will stay in the back of my head till the day God needs me to use it or whatever else. Good talking with you and once again thank you. I do like searching out new stuff so much. You know, here a little there a little....Good night again.
Yeah? I "caught" that which FTS said about Paul myself.

I, at one time/point in my "growing in the grafting in the "true vine"", had thought and commented pretty much the same thing that FTS stated concerning Paul.

One can call it "growing/grafting pains", a "rite of passage" of sorts, I guess. May even be better explained of what happens "When 2 REALITIES collide!" ;) IOW? when "faith verses flesh!"

Peter, in his wisdom "seen and understood" it! And even made a comment about it concerning Paul.
2 Peter 3
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Takes "perseverance" in "working"(yes? efforts in spiritual sacrifice) towards "Spiritual Maturity" in seeing just how gullible and vexating, and so oft times "wanting to be deceived (vexating)", "flesh man" can be, and become!

Meaning Paul is correct!
So is Peter!

Along with a holding fast of Jesus, and He who sent Jesus will NEVER leave, nor forsake you!
All things "work for/towards good" for/to those who love God, AND ARE CALLED "according" to HIS purpose!
Because THIS is what's happening, when you allow "Jehovah our Shepherd" in His "cutting you out", and focusing, and "magnifying" on those "lively stones" that have been "scattered", and "tempering the mortar" when "building you spiritual house."
Psalm 23

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Ezekiel 13
20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Lol

you love to twist don’t you

i do not need to see anything but what the bible says

IF people kept the law. They did not need saved, period. No matter what you say. The thing you want me to see has no bearing in that fact, period,

Judah was not in a saved state, they rejected christ, they were just as lost as the other tribes. And also why they suffered the same fate as the northern kingdom did in 70 ad.

Not to mention, there were representatives of all 12 tribes in judah there always has been, many from the northern kingdom fled to judah and were spared. Because god promised there would always be a remnant.

So if men are surrounding you, about to rape your wife and kids, you would do nothing to defend them? Even though God gave you the ability?
please do not say you think it is gods will for your wife and kids to be raped!
God is much better at protection than I am. I would not do "nothing".

I can "picture" EG spinning like a top, with his hands clasped over his ears, and screaming:
"You don't KNOW what we believe!"
"You don't know what we believe!"
"I KNOW! "You DON'T!"
"You just THINK you know!"
(whereas)
"I KNOW I know!"

Well EG? How's it "feel" to be?: :)

Thank you very much for this. Happy on one hand, left behind on the other, as I have not done this yet and seems to me those I have the most unity in understand with all have. I am very used to telling myself "You are NOT understanding what God is telling you here", and letting it go for awhile.

Alot of scripture

make sure you read it to yourself, not just trying to use it to judge others. As some have done in the past,
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:21-27

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

God is good and His Love endures forever. Amen

And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. Matthew 18:3-9

Again, make sure you listen to these words, and are not using them to accuse others

I was adopted into gods family almost 40 years ago, his words are music to my ears, i ,ove his word and i love him, I am thankful he took the curse i deserve on his own body as the lamb of god, fullfillinght e law on my behalf.

he loved me, he served me, he does this day after day.

because of this, i want to love and serve him back by serving others.
