Making the use of Hebrew words an improper thing to do takes replacement theology almost to a new level. First time I ever saw this.
Well for people who speak English to then revert to Hebrew in order to speak of the Lord Jesus has got to be one of the first steps toward Judaizing.

I would expect a person who speaks English to use His English name. Maybe use His Jewish name when speaking to Jews about Christ?

Replacement theology isn't actually a thing. There is One way to God and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. No other way. We are grafted into the same vine. We share the same blessing of that. Physical Jews need to do the same thing as us in order to be grafted back into the vine. Come to Christ.

Speaking English doesn't make someone righteous. Speaking Hebrew doesn't make someone righteous. We are all one in Christ Jesus.

It's OK EG! You have taken the "opt out early option!"
The rub is when y'all encourage EVERYONE to take "the opt out early option!"
And then? Y'alls condemnation of those who have not!
It's like y'all are saying: "psss.....psss!" "opt out early!" "Salvation by grace through faith is enough." "You'll be fine!" "and won't incur the wrath of the rest of us who have have opted out early too." "we couldn't handle the heat, so we got out of the kitchen." "you can too!"
Matthew 23
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. This "warning" from Christ, is just AS true for todays believers, as it is for the Jews!

Not that I'm not listening, EG!
I'm "hearing y'all" just fine! Just not "following your lead."
Just not "opting out!" :)
"You can stand me up at the gates of hell!" "And, I won't opt out!"
"No?" "I'll stand my ground!" "Won't be turned a-round!"
You neither go in yourselves nor allow others to go in.

The way into the Kingdom is in Christ. The way to Salvation is in Christ. The way to wisdom is in Christ. The way to Righteousness is in Christ. The way to Sanctification is in Christ.

Are you starting to see a pattern here?

What do you get by your work at the law?

when your wrong, and you take this attitude, it spells trouble

I have not taken anything out an anything by the way.

My argument is HOW a child of God should progress to maturity, and what process or processes one must take.

Remember, you got mad at me because you thought I was talking about salvation.

so your first step woudl be learning how to discern what people are saying, THEN if you want to stand your ground, at least you have an argument, Otherwise, Your standing and protecting something that is not even there. but you can never see that because your not looking

Hey NayborBear,

Your graciousness to EG shines through. Personally, I am having a hard time seeing past the carnality to recognize any desire for redemption there.

I will continue to pray and hope there is time, but I think the lockdown has already begun...

Simply trying to love them more then they love "He who sent Christ!"

Far as "is that your final answer?", is concerned? I be inclined in agreeing with ye there! Elstwise, it seems? We would not be here, eh? ;)

Wow, over 400 pages in and I don't think I ever made a comment. Why so many pages for such a simple subject? The OT was about the Law and blood sacrifice. It was imperfect and it simply "covered" sin. It was temporary till Christ came. Then He became the blood sacrifice, and our sins are now taken away, not just covered by the blood of a sacrificed animal. We no longer have need of the Law and blood sacrifice. We have Christ, our only high priest. If you are under the Law you need the blood of an animal and a priest to go before God on your behalf. Christ broke all of that, He is the sacrifice, He took our sin away, and He goes to the Father in our place. He is our high priest and we can come boldly before the throne, which was not possible in the OT. Jesus brought a new covenant. Very simple.
Yes. AMEN

Easy simple, biblical.

It takes a theologian to turn something THIS SIMPLE to difficult. Peter was a fisherman, NO THEOLOGIANS out there! Paul says the same in Corinthians. God chose that whhich is nothing in this world

So to the Jewish believers, Moses is their spokesperson, one that Jesus himself acknowledged.

Thus to the gentile believers, Paul is our....?
YOU keep saying there is different ways for the Jew and for Gentile, this is not true. Jesus Himself says:

John 10:16, "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd."

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My teachings will not pass away.”

I realize your new (at least your "handle" sez your new...lol), and have probably missed some postings I have put up here in CC, concerning "love."
And it's not that love is not important! It is very important!
Yet? Not so important, that it SUPERCEDES the development of the rest of the "fruit of the Spirit!"
And love covers a multitude of "falling short of the mark"(sin/s).
But, the definition of multitude, is just that! MANY! Even Many many! A whole lotta, even! :)
Not EVERY!
Love is most important, even when someone has done us wrong. May the Creator guide people to be truly loving rather than reject His ways an seek their own desire. I also want to add that no matter what it looks like to us, His way is better than anything we can do, make, provide for ourselves.

How can one even expect to be a "joint-heir" WITH Christ, as long as that one never goes unto the Father, as one is confessed to Him BY Christ?

1 Corinthians 10
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
This is the "opt out" clause.
Choose not to opt out, and you will learn, or in some cases, "be learnt", the importance of working at the law.

Galatians 4
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art NO MORE A SERVANT, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God THROUGH Christ.

See that Grandpa? An "heir of God" THROUGH, not IN Christ.

No you cant opt-out. You are lost if you do

Only those who remain faithful till the end are the truly born again: "holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: "

Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

How do you know you are part of God's house? if you hold fast. If you dont, GET SAVED. No opt-out clauses in the Bible!
1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

I stand corrected. There’s no petty slandering or malice in the following:

“You better hope your parents don't find out you are on a site meant for sincere Christians! lol”

My bad 🤗

Without a face his words portray a child. I am not alone in this thinking. Let's put it this way, If we all of sudden could see one another and he appeared as a teenager it wouldn't surprise me.

I'll wait.
2 ways that I can think of off the top of my head.
a) Let some man, or some thing deceive you.
2 Timothy 2
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
b) Self deception. Which includes being "wise in your own conceits."
All of which, is the work of that spirit of anti christ.

Which it would seem, in my mind anyway, not to take the "opt out" option.
Cuz that which don't kill ya? Makes ya stronger!
IOW? I'd rather be dead then be deceived, or be wise in my own conceits!

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Your a funny man

One thing is sure, someone hit a nerve, your running around trying to make others look bad to puff yourself up

Sorry i brought you down

No need to apologize, If I need to be brought down then down it is.

Eventually, all will answer for their deeds. Even your deeds today and yesterday, all the unrepentant deeds and rebellion in your heart to the will of God will be accounted for.

Your choice to take the Broad path, the easy route of "Got sin, but I got grace!" rather than the narrow path of following in Yahshuas footsteps of obedience and holiness will cone to your ears in the voice of Yahshua as;

Mat 7:23 NIV

(23) Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

You tried to follow righteousness one time, but you either did not wait for the anointing of the Holy Spirit or you simply catered to the rebellion in your heart and took the broad path. Yahshua said it would be difficult, that's why He has rewards for those who "Endure to the end" There certainly isn't any difficulty in enduring in ones sin is there?

Rude awakenings await those on the broad path of easy sin and easy life. Beware, be ready, or be willing to return to the "narrow path" you forsook so many years ago.

Romans 10:2-4
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Is the goal of Christ to bring you to the Law?

Or is the goal of the Law to bring you to Christ?

You see, when you get it backwards you are NOT a sincere Christian. You are instead attempting to blend judaism with Christianity. They don't blend.

Christianity fulfills judaism. Judaism was the shadow. Christianity is the Light.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

This is the goal, right? Judaism won't give that to you.
Is the goal of Christ to bring you to the Law?

Or is the goal of the Law to bring you to Christ?

Is it the goal of Christ to bring you to the Father?

Is it the goal of the Father to bring you to the law?

He’s sharing the grace of God afforded to everyone who has faith in Jesus Christ. Sharing such wisdom is not the portrait of a child. Now me on the other hand...

More often than not people who use fancy OT names for God and Jesus, rather than just saying God and Jesus, are pious and self-righteous.
Your "ignorance" concerning the "government that Jesus Christ carries on His shoulders< meaning He holds UP the Government of the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Light?
Says much concerning which jesus you prescribe to.

Funny, I like your humor...

No, actually He and many on here are walking in carnality.....this is no petty retort, this is a sincere effort to call out this behavior into the open in hopes of some self-reflection. But in truth, the only thing that inspires self reflection is a desire to be holy and a repentant heart. With many of your doctrines it quashes the humility necessary to be repentant and self reflective.

Smack yourself to see if you can wake yourself up before it's too late!

I admit I lack humility. I relate very well to Jesus overturning the tables in the temple. I dig that kind of righteous indignation.

All that said, I hold forever in my heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God, our Lord and Savior, and that His grace is afforded to everyone who has faith in Him. Like my pastor told me long ago, thank God I’m not perfect because it would be pretty difficult to get along with me.
