And the prophets where who appeared on the mountain, seems to be as witnesses as well.

Matt 17:3
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Those prophets are long dead and have no body Not as if flesh and blood could enter heaven as the presence of God's glory .The body they did have was corrupted by God.

It was a vision that enters ones fleshly mind to represent the law and the prophets the two witnesses . They are seen killed or made to no effect for a short period

The Book of Acts does contain the true doctrine of the Church. The Acts record expresses how one becomes a part of the body of Christ. Luke questioned actual eye witnesses of what transpired as the NT church was birthed. Luke notes Peter's words to the crowd at Pentecost. He explains how after complying with the instructions, the new disciples travel out of Jerusalem and begin witnessing the truth to others throughout the World.
Yes the true doctrine of the church "all things written in the law and the prophets" (sola scriptura) . It exposes the false doctrine of men called a law of the fathers. They tried to make sola scriptura to no effect by calling it the heresy rather The law of the fathers. .

one source of Christian faith as it is written . The law of the fathers or called Apostolic succession according to it they were worshiping or venerating men seen as if they are in the place of our unseen father in heaven . they ignored the word of God. (SOLA SCRIPTURA). . . Call no man father on earth one is our Father in heaven (not seen ) the faith principle.

Paul turned it right-side up. They walked away in unbelief .No faith as power that come from hearing God, as it is written

Paul previously guilty as Saul. Now declared so worship I the God of my fathers. Not the fathers as God, A form of Paganism, gods plural.

Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the
God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: Acts14:13-14

Where does one find in the Word that the infilling of the Holy Ghost is all that is required for one to be reborn/saved?
In the Word that the infilling of the Holy Ghost works in us both to will and perform His good pleasure .It is all that is required to believe. His yoke is easy his burden is light .

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.John3:18

2 kings 2
11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.12 Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

13 Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

Elijah’s cloak fell from his fleshly body as he went up to heaven.

You stated your interpretation of the book of Acts, I have stated mine.
SCRIPTURE, not an opinion, testifies to the fact that the salvation message and instructions were provided to the Samaritans and Gentiles after having initially been given to the Jews.

Luke notes Peter's words to the crowd at Pentecost. He explains how after complying with the instructions, the new disciples travel out of Jerusalem and begin witnessing the truth to others throughout the World.

Luke's letter records specific episodes where obedience to Peter's initial instructions to the Jews were required of Gentiles, Samaritans, and Ephesus disciples, and others as well. (Acts 8:12-18, 10:44-48, 19:1-6, 22:16 Paul, 8:35-40 Eunuch, 16:28-33 Jailer/family, 16:14-15 Lydia/family, 18:8 Crispus/Corinthian believers)

Where does one find in the Word that the infilling of the Holy Ghost is all that is required for one to be reborn/saved?

God is sovereign and has the ability to do whatever He wants. However, God puts stipulations on Himself. He is not like mankind. When He says something it stands. He is no respecter of persons.

The point made was that when God's Word states something there is nothing that will change it. Example: Elijah and Enoch were taken out of this world in a way other than dying. God's Word says that every man will die one time and afterward the judgement. Elijah and Enoch must die once because God's Word says so. We know that two witnesses will be sent from God to the earth and they will die and resurrect three days later. The witnesses sent from God will be human beings therefore it seems reasonable that they will be Elijah and Enoch.

You also ignore the points I have made. Exodus 12;48 stated that gentiles have to be saved as a Jew. Prior to the gospel of grace that was a mystery revealed to Paul, gentiles could not be saved without the Jews

It’s not just water baptism but because you are obsessed with that, you will naturally interpret what you read using that as the main lens.

That is understandable. All of us are interpreting scripture one way or another.

You are missing the point that it is not normal for a human being to be taken to heaven without first dying here on earth.

The action of bringing a person back from the dead in the Word is not normal but extraordinary. And, provides undeniable proof that the person is appointed by God. Even those alive at the conclusion of earth, as we know it, will be changed. This change is seen in the dying off of the corruptible body that is instantly replaced with an incorruptible one. (1 Cor 15:51)

I don't know of any scripture that addresses your question.
One thing that is evident regarding the scripture is that those who came forth were saints who had died under the OT.

I did not ignore the point you made about Exodus 12:48. I guess you didn't notice that the NT instructions given by Peter do exactly what you point out in the Exodus verse:

The NT water baptism for repentance was required for the Jews first.
After the Holy Ghost fell on the disciples at Pentecost it was clear that all Jews must partake of that as well as continuing water baptism. However the water baptism now included the use of Jesus' name. (Acts 2:38)

This message was preached primarily to the Jewish population. When many rejected the message of Jesus and the instructions associated with that message the door was then opened to the Gentiles and Samaritans.

Notice that all three groups do what was first mandated for the Jews:
Jews got water baptized and received the Holy Ghost the same day. Acts 2:38
The Gentiles received the Holy Ghost and got water baptized the same day. Acts 10
The Samaritans got water baptized in Jesus name on one day. And a few days later they received the Holy Ghost. Acts 8. It is important to remember that the Samaritans were part Jewish and part Gentile. They obeyed parts of the instructions on two separate occasions. Interesting?

That is not correct.

Even if you are correct, then you have to also insist on circumcision and following the Law of Moses for the Gentiles too, its not just repent and be water baptized.

Obedience to NT water baptism replaced the need for obedience to OT circumcision:

"In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead."

Acts 15 speaks of the requirements seen in Acts 10:44-48 and mentions circumcision is no longer required.

Acts 10 is before acts 15, so your point does not support your argument.

Yes long dead body long gone.

God can do according to His law. 70-80 years is the limit he uses as in dying death occurs. Some could make 100 . Elijah corrupted flesh is not 3000 years old . Its worm food having return to the dust or clay of the field.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Or a another law .Corrupted Flesh and blood could never enter heaven. God cannot violate his own laws or he ceasing from being God.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Acts chapter 15 contains Peter's comments about OT circumcision as well as what happened when he went to speak with Cornelius in Acts 10. Peter states that God had accepted the Gentiles, therefore they were not required to get circumcised. The record in Acts 10 shows that the Gentiles were obedient in their repentance, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and getting water baptized in Jesus' name.

You have zero proof that Elijah body wasn’t whirlwind to heaven but is worm food.
