Why did you start this discussion with me?

You said that no one was in hell yet and hell isn't even in the version of Bible your using. Your version calls hell hades.

So has anyone been to hades/hell yet or no?

Did Jesus go to hell/hades or not?

I told you, your strange unique terminoly, would cause unnecessary arguments. You have several of your terms, are not our terms for the same thing. You have got to learn to explain your terms.

NO ONE IS IN HELL yet, it is the LAKE OF FIRE. AND WILL BE A PERMANENT PLACE OF TORMENT FOR THE Second Resurrection UNBELIEVERS, But the first TWO to be CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE are the BEAST and the FALSE PROPHET. Followed by the DEVIL, (The Unholy Trinity), Then Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire, and THEN RESURRECTED Unrighteous, will go there too.

Revelation 19:19-20 (HCSB)
19 Then I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and against His army.
20 But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with him the false prophet, who had performed the signs in his presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image with these signs. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Revelation 20:10 (HCSB)
10 The Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 20:14-15 (ASV)
14 And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.
15 And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

What happens to the Unrighteous when they die ? ? ?

They go to the Place of Torment for the Disembodied spirits of the Unrighteous, KNOWN AS HADES.

YES, it is a REAL PLACE, the Story of Lazarus and the Rich Man is a REAL BIOGRAPHICAL STORY.
And the label spiritually dead, DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE NO FUNCTIONING, AND CAN FEEL THE TORMENT TOO.

Luke 16:19-31 (ESV)
19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.
20 And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,
21 who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried,
23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.
24 And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’
25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’
27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house—
28 for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’
29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’
30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
31 He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

What makes me so sure this is not a Parable?
JESUS NEVER called anyone by NAME in any of HIS Parables, and In Mal. 3:6, HE SAID HE DOES NOT CHANGE.
Why did Jesus Not name the RICH MAN then?
HE did not want to embarrass the 5 Brothers of the Rich Man, it is just being Courteous.
What else is a BIG CLUE that this is a true biographical Story?
The fact that HE NUMBERED the exact number of the Rich Man's brothers.
The KJV says that ABRAHAM had Lazarus in his Bosom, what does that mean?
Back in the 1900's we had an expression "bosom buddies", the Arab and Mid-East Countries never LOST that tradition.

How did Jesus take our sin nature to hell?
Can you quote scripture?
Any scripture to back up he was saved by the Holy Spirit.
I'm sure I have asked you before but can't recall a response.
Excuse my absence of response, finding this place so quarrelsome, had given up.
"In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence."
"If the same Spirit that save Christ from the dead, dwell in You it shall make alive your mortal body."
Jesus was just as dead in hell as if we had been there: having taken our place; but saved by the Holy Spirit. "He became sin that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him." An exchange of Life: the new covenant in His body and blood. If Jesus did not go to hell, it would mean we would not have needed to go there when we died, and that salvation would have been possible under the law. I'm surprised that I need to quote, its all over the bible, and what salvation is about.
"Had they known they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory."
The religious leaders nullified the old covenant by killing Jesus: the only way it could be nullified, by the death of the one who established it. This nullified possibility of salvation by the works of righteousness we have done, something you should agree with, now there is only Life i n Christ, apart from "Faith that works by the Love of God," we are dead even if we believe without the work of God. "The sentence of death passed upon all men as all died with Him." He was the life of creation; now having taken our sentence and Risen: is the Life of the new creation. As we follow Him in the Straight and narrow Way, in His death and Resurrection.
Jesus arose by the power of the Holy Spirit as "The Life Giving Spirit," "I have the keys of death and hell." Death and hell are separation from God, until death is swallowed up in victory. "The sea gave up the dead that are in them, death and hell gave up the dead that are in them and everyone was judged according to his works." Heaven and hell are not in time as we know it on earth, but death and hell already belong to Jesus who will swallow up death in victory; having already bound the strong man and defeated Him.

The day of vengeance of our God:
"Listen! In the Day of the Lord! The cry of the mighty will be bitter."
When Jesus said on the cross "It is finished," "God speaks of a New Covenant in His blood, means He made the old obsolete." "He came to deliver those who through fear of death were held their whole lifetime in bondage." When we think like men in the flesh and desire control, the enemy is given room to cause divisions. "From where come wars among you? Are they not from the lusts of living after the flesh." Those who desired control of the Kingdom nullified their covenant with God. The old covenant could only be nullified by the death of the one who established it. "Had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory." "Had there been a law that could save us, salvation would have been by the law," but the law exposed our selfish motives to bring us to Christ: so that no man would glory in himself. "The foolishness of God is Wiser than the wisdom of the wise of this world." Love to the point of folly for His Beloved, that we may be a new creation cleansed in His blood. Now in our brokenness we are all connected, united by His Grace to forgive and be forgiven. "The Love of Christ compels us, believing that Christ died for all, our old life is nullified so that we no longer live for ourselves but in Him who died and rose again. Therefore from now on we regard no one according to the flesh." "To this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe."

And what is the sin the Holy Spirit convices us off?
"Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily hinders us (turns us aside) and let us run the race with patience." The weights are addictions and the sin is "Lovers of pleasure more than God." Not forsaking everyone and everything and our own life to follow the Lord, is remaining codependent and living outwardly: not on an inner Journey with God; needing God and someone or something else to fulfill our life: for our life to make sense, not forsaking our life in the flesh.

Can you state where he said he is done learning?
Controversial said that there is nothing we can do in any way to ad to our salvation. Watch if me sharing a word from Jesus will make a difference. "No one can do anything against the Truth but only for the Truth."
"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;"

"You don't need any man to teach you, the anointing that is in you teaches you." The Lord told me that when I contended with a quarrelsome. "The servant of the Lord must not quarel," we should walk away.
What if you are being quarrelsome?

@VCO
Here's what I know about hell VCO.
Not many people actually read what I post so I'm going to brief and to the point.

Psa_63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
The wicked go to the heart of the earth.

Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
The rich man in hell could see Abraham was holding Lazarus near his chest.

Mat_12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Jesus went to the heart of the earth.

Eph_4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Jesus went to the heart of the earth to minister to the prisoners that were disobedient before the flood.

Conclusion:
  • Hell is still in operation, wicked people are going there today.
  • Lazarus was leaning on Abraham's chest and that's why "scholars" Abraham's bosom is a place. Abraham's bosom as a place does not exist.
  • Abraham and Lazarus was in eye shot and ear shot of the rich man in hell. Abraham and Lazarus were in hell but not in torment or punishment. A chasm separated the two groups.
  • Jesus went to hell and ministered to the souls that sinned before the flood.
  • Those who accepted the gospel were release from hell.
  • Hell is tossed in the lake a fire after all of the wicked have died at the end of time.

Act_2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

No matter if you see "his soul" as being David or Jesus, Jesus went to hell.
If the verse is speaking of Jesus, which it is, his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption.
If the verse is speaking of David, Jesus went to where David was and Acts 2:31 says he was in hell.

Jonah is a second witness to that.
Jonah foreshadowing Christ, cried out from the belly of hell.

Jon_2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
A breath of fresh air, more than that actually, someone hiting the target and bringing down controversy. Jesus restored the unity of the Spirit and we are to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of Peace. May this shed light on those who were despisers and though they knew and it. This war is not over and yet it is. It's up to us to walk in the Light we have to get more Light. "That we should think soberly as God has given to every man a measure of Faith" and to "Despise noone."

Well said Sherlock:)
Hades had two parts. The place where the faithful went at death, Abraham’s bosom and the other part where the lost went

Jesus emptied Abe’s bosom. The
How about you enlighten me Mac.
What is Hades and what is Gehenna?
Two diiferent places, two different Greek words.

A. Hades is the place where the unsaved dead go when they die to await judgement.

B. The unsaved dead will be raised and judged, and condemned because their names will not be found in the book of Life

C. The judged will be cast into Gehenna, also called Lake of Fire, outer datkness, and Without ( outside the Holy city)

D. That is why scripture says death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire. The inhabitants of Hades will be raised, judged, and cast into the lake of fire

E. Hades is kind of like jail where wait trial, and Gehenna is like the penitentiary where you go after judgement
