I don’t see it. Something that gets destroyed and something else replacing it isn’t regeneration.
Being made new is a pretty good def of regeneration, bro. How do you define regeneration? And the believers regeneration is old things passing away and all things being made new. And that will happen to the kosmos too, maestro

Why don’t you read the only 2 verses that mention the word regeneration and get your definition from the words of the Bible instead of making it be something that it isn’t.

You would not believe the theology that’s packed into those two verses.

I just bought a new car, does that mean I regerated my old one?
No because you now have two cars. You didn’t regenerate the old one, it’s still the same car

To regenerate the old car, you would have to turn that same car into a new car

Get it?

Regeneration is a new creation. Period.

You cannot argue your case from scripture, so you use extremely faulty analogies that do not come from scripture

How could you still be dead in your sins if you’re saved?

Your flesh hasn’t been regenerated, it’s been crucified with Christ. Your flesh will never ever be regenerated.

And that’s pretty much proves my point that regeneration is not being saved or as you say being born again. That born again man is BRAND NEW, he’s not a regeneration of your flesh.

You’re saved, you’re not dead in your sins.

Your former husband is dead, he is the one who had you bound to the law which made you dead in your sins. The wife MUST submit to the law of her husband. But if the husband be dead, she is free to marry another. The wife is now bound to the law of her new husband.

Your former husband has been crucified with Christ. You are, or should be married to Christ now. If you’re not, it’s your fault because your husband is dead and your now free to marry another.

That wicked husband is dead and gone, crucified with Christ. It’s not possible to regenerate him nor would ever want him to be regenerated.

This is what gets me about law keepers and salvation losers. When you keep saying all of this keep the law stuff to please God, you’re giving living proof that your former husband is still alive and well and you’re still bound to the law of your husband.

May I give you my TAKE TOO?

I hope you do not mind. I believe the human spirit is ETERNALLY ALIVE, once it is Born Again, biblically. I know their some churches put a lesser meaning on what born again means, but you and I, KNOW what it means. Some think it is tongues, some think it is being a disciple, some think it is Church Membership, some think it is acknowledging the stories about JESUS are true, and we can deal with receiving Him as LORD later. We both know that is all a trick of the devil to get those settle for something LESS than GENUINE SALVATION.

We know it is mournfully acknowledging we are a Sinner, and Out of LOVE for HIM, we willingly receive HIM as our personal LORD, meaning MASTER. THAT IS THE BEGINNING OF SALVATION, when the Holy Spirit immersed our human spirit into the spiritual Body of Christ, of which HE is the Head.

The human spirit in us will never go back to spiritual death, once it is Eternally Alive. The INHERITED Sin Nature in our BODIES, will sin Less, and Less, and Less as we mature spiritually through taking in the WORD OF GOD in our hearts. Our Bodies will not be free from the influence of that Sin Nature, until the Resurrection, when we receive the GLORIFIED BODY that cannot even think sin.

1 John 3:14 (HCSB)
14 We know that we have passed from death to life because we love [godly, self sacrificial LOVE] our brothers.
The one who does not love remains in death.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

@"KJV1611,

Regeneration and replacement are not synonyms. You buying a new car is not regenerating a car. How is buying a new car making the old one new. Bad analogy

No one is saying we are under the Law. And who says anything about losing salvation? We died to the Law and are joined to Christ. And being in Christ, the righteous requirement of the Law is FULFILLED in us as we walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh.

By the way, there are more than two verses that talk about regeneration

paligenessia (sic) means born anew and gennao anothen means born again (see John 3). Syonyms

Born again is found in John 3 and 1 Peter 1:23

So the doctrine of regeneration is found in at least 5 verses. Not to mention, Ephesians 2 and other places. Just because a word isn’t used doesn’t mean the teaching is not there. The word justification is not in John 3:16, but it is certainly there by implication

Agree and I didn’t say that di
The law aint wicked! The law is HOLY and GOOD!
Yep and I didn’t say that did I? And you should’ve known exactly who I was talking about and the book and chapter I was paraphrasing from.

It’s a bad analogy to someone who has a “churchianity” definition of regeneration. However to those who know the REAL definition of regeneration it makes perfect sense. And that would be the BIBLICAL definition.

BTW thanks for keeping this going. I’m working today and my job is fixing something when it breaks down so I would’ve been very board without you today.
