You call that a rebuttal? Sounds like a copout.This copy and paste adds quite a bit to the scriptures it addresses and avoids scriptures it cannot twist up enough. It`s a sad effort but since this isn`t original work I won`t bother addressing point by point. I`m sure your source would have liked credit for the work and I don`t think it speaks well for you to steal someone elses article. Still, this piece is a weak piece of work. it does nothing for your case.

NO LAW can help me with these things.. If there had been a law which could. Then we would never have needed christ to begin with.
Whatever the master says to his slave or servant is deemed as a law for him. We were bought by the precious blood of Jesus and are now His possession, His servants, He is our Lord.
Jesus is the law written in our hearts, the love of God and the law that the one Lawgiver has given us. (John 3:16, Romans 8:1-17)
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! This isn`t my first rodeo. I`ve seen plenty of compromised OSAS who point to verses they like and avoid verses that don`t work for them.
Useless to debate such people about it because you just go in a circle.
What’s the debate? We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Quit putting stumbling blocks up against others, and quit shutting out the kingdom of heaven against others. You Pharisees haven’t changed at all in 2,000 years.
Quit projecting. There are various ministries beyond church ministry. Think outside the box.

What we LOOK FOR in a man should be what God sees in a man, the heart and mind on the Lord,

James 2:4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Same with legalists and Pharisees.
They pretend the law of sin and death is not the 10 commandments so that they can continue justifying their work at it.
They pretend it is the 10 commandments that are written on the Christians Heart when they are born again.
But this is pure silliness, isn't it? How can Christ offer Rest if the 10 commandments are written on the Christians Heart?
How can Christ offer Rest if He doesn't first free us from our WORK at the 10 commandments?
This is pure simplicity and yet the legalist and Judaizer just crumples it up into their circular reasoning machine and makes everything about the law...
James and Paul taught same thing about works. They just express it differently. In the case of Rahab, yes she was a harlot and I believe the flax had been a form of payment for services.
Romans 13:3
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

My post was not copy and pasted from an article. Still sounds like a cop out to me. Just admit that you have no rebuttal. If you are overwhelmed by the length of the entire post, then simply start with James 2:14. Stop acting childish and let’s reason together through the scriptures.
