Really... if you believe that then you should vote and you have no scriptural basis for your argument.... just sayin
Trump will get it, why should anyone vote for someone they don't believe is a suitable candidate? Oh and he'll win, they aren't even allowing conservative primary candidates in some states.

I think I am only speaking to the larger question of the civic duty of voting for a Christian ... not so much the specifics of this upcoming election.

Civic responsibilityas a christian to vote? What about my civic responsibility as a christian to protest?

I would agree on this.... however you need to start a movement for it to be of any effect.

'You will KNOW them by their works' so I can't think of any Christian acts he's noted for except the Jewish Embassy, which I applaud for that. However, if he winds up running against any candidate who opposes Israel, such as being for the boycott of Israeli goods, I would have to vote for him.

Well every person has to figure out for themselves what they think are the priorities.

It seems to me the greater evil is to pay taxes... the point that Jesus was making was bigger than paying taxes.
Just curious, for those who don't like taxes, how do streets/freeways get fixed, libraries & such city functions survive?

That isn't really what I meant, it was the taxes that support things a Christian would not support.

I might change my mind if he helps the homeless get into housing and get treatment. That possibility has come across my news feed.
Your best option is to move to Canada ;):D:cool:...higher taxes, more social services.

I realize you haven't been keeping with me but the plan IS to move to Canada to get involved with rescue mission substance abuse and homelessness ministry work but I about $2000 short. Can I put the pinch on you for a donation as I can't promise to pay you back. (I don't expect a raise in my retirement.)

if you can find a doctor? >>>LOL
They can, according to AARP (unless they're also in the crooked bunch) the top 5 myths about Canadian healthcare have been debunked. Maybe some rationing, as opposed to sky-high indebtedness.

Better they should state the five sad truths abut Canadian Health Care.
