Moses was just a man, who did what god commanded,

He scares you?
Any man of violence scares me.

When Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these," I cannot imagine heaven being populated by violent people.

So you think moses will not be in heaven? How about king david, he killed how many?

If you think you are fighting everyone you prove you are closed. Which means nothing anyone says to you can be understood by you, and you will never give them a time of day, then i ask, Why then are you here?

And yes, that is why people do that, because they are defensive.
I think I understand what people say here pretty good. But your attack again is unfounded. I always have time to talk to people about Jesus and face to face people are usually pretty comfortable talking to me. Much is lost communicationg this way :(

I`m here because I have a knee injury and am stuck at the house. I needed an outlet because I was getting depressed.

I missed this post earlier. I love it :) Paul was Jewish as Jew can be. He was a high ranking Pharisee, a scholar, a torah observant expert who often taught and quoted from the torah. He always preached to Jews first and his churches were mixtures of Gentiles and Jews with a very Jewish church culture. This is what he said about himself.

4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

That is Paul`s own summation of himself.
Yep, paul used his history as proof,
Yet most of pauls letters was in condemnation of jews who tried to add works of the oaw to grace, even going as far to call them fools

And you think that is what I do because I oppose hostility to the law?

You understand what people see?

Not from my point of view,

I am not even here to fight you, yet you keep saying i am attacking you when i am not, i am just showing you a different view, thats what people do when they “discuss” the word in a bible “discussion” forum

You remind me of another poster who has been here for along time

I am sorry about your situation, will pray for healing.

I am not hostile to the law

I am hostile to misinterpretation and missaplication to the law

But you have no desire to discuss that, its already set in stone i am attacking the law.

When in my view. It in in reality is you who attack the law, but that does not matter, what matters is the truth right?

But lets be honest, if i say you attack the law. Does that tend to lead to honest discussion, does it prove my point? No , any more than your what we call stawman, saying i am attacking the law does.

1 Timothy 1:7
desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.

This is the problem here

We both desire to teach the law. But one of us do not understand the law.

discuss a different view is always good. it`s frustrating for me because I know I am misunderstood here. I have same goal, to show a different view. The posters here seem to be modern Christians with modern American religeous views. I don`t think you can show me anything new. I started out as a Baptist about 36 years ago.

Yep and what did god say, did satan win?
It looks as though Satan might have got the body of Moses.

Jud 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Ok, so how about you explain to me how you think I missinterpret and missapply the law. please reference your scriptures if you will.

So the lord rebuked satan, but satan won

Once again, you scare me

Again, david killed many more than moses, is david in heaven or hell?

Well you still have not shown me how my faith establishes the law, so why should i answer?

Yet i will try

Well you think it is still applicable to believers, we must still follow it right?
Am i wrong in what i think you believe?

I don`t desire to teach the law. There is a deeper point I would have liked getting into but the path to getting there stalled early in this thread :(

The first step is to listen to people, they ask you questions so they do not misunderstand you, when you refuse to answer them you leave people no choice, if they misunderstood you, how can you blame them? Thats why we ask questions, as you should ask questions of us

Thats because this thread is argumentative, and is trying to fight one view. Instead of trying to discuss it
