Hello, I don't know if there's a thread to ask for advice, but prayer would help.
I have been butting heads with my parents for a long time, and it's to the point that I'm wary and suspicious of evetyhing they do or say.
Even innocuous questions feel like interrogation,, and I fear their criticism ao much that I refuse to speak with them 90% of the time. I know the Bible says to honour my parents, but I feel like I'm incapable of feeling anything but hostility towards them anymore

If you are old enough and still living at home you might consider moving out. Honoring your parents does not mean that you must subject yourself to being interrogated. I will say a prayer for God to improve your relationship with your parents. Glad to have you as part of our community. Welcome to CC.

Thank you. Honestly, it's not at all interrogation, I just feel that way because of the bad feelings I feel towards them. Normal questions such as "what did you do today" feel intrusive  I don't really know why myself...

I do not know how old you are, but nowadays even children and teenagers
are thinking of their parents as the thorn of life. They think that only they are right in everything and the parents are always wrong. Their good sayings and advices are also sting them. But they gave birth to you and since childhood they did everything for you which is right for your life. And no one can return to their parents what they have given you. So at least, after listening to their words, can't we give them a little bit of happiness in return? Please understand your parents. I will definitely pray to God for you.

Perhaps you feel that your parents are intruding on your personal space.

Hello, friend. I’m very sorry to hear about your situation with your parents. It’s not a nice thing when your relationship with your loved ones gets so complicated. I’m praying for God’s intervention, help and direction upon you and your parents. May you sense His hand of grace and peace as you lean upon Him.

50:15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.
