Galatians 3:10-11
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.


When you look back to the 10 commandments to keep them in your own understanding you have placed yourself under the curse. That is the ESSENCE of the letter.

Matthew 11:28-29
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

This is the beginning of starting in the Spirit. It is the END of working at the law in your own understanding.


So you can't have it both ways. Either you have faith in Christ and walk in His Spirit OR you work at the law.

Either you are a Judaizer or you are not.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

This is an all or nothing statement. You can't have the 10 commandments while saying other parts of the law don't apply. Same as what Paul says in Galatians 3:10


What you can have is Rest in Christ which is the BEGINNING of walking in the Spirit and the BEGINNING of faith in Christ. This faith in Christ is the ONLY thing we have that keeps commandments. It is not our understanding or our strength. It is Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.


You can't look back to the law and attempt to work at it in your own understanding and strength if you are Trusting in the Lord and not leaning on your own understanding.

I'm not real sure why Judaizers and Legalists think that it is because they work at the law that is the proof they have faith in God and are walking in His spirit.

I wonder if that is what people who practice Judaism think as well? Must be a fairly common, carnal thought.

Sinai was a failure in that the people did not receive the Holy Spirit, They took it exclusively through a mediator/Moses.

Moses spoke in Numbers how he had wished the people of Israel had "received The Holy Spirit";

Num 11:29 NIV But Moses replied, "Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the LORD's people were prophets and that the LORD would put his Spirit on them!"

Israel went through the same pattern of progression as a CHristian does;

Egypt/Turning away from - Under the blood of the lamb

Our sins/Repentance - Under the Blood of Yahshua



Leaving Egypt - Through the Red Sea

Leaving Sin - Baptism



50 Day Jornney to Sinai - Receiving of the Law

50 days post crucifixion - Receiving of the Holy Spirit



40 years in the wilderness- Enter the promised land

Why does scripture refer to Yahshua's second coming to be one in which He will rule the nations with an Iron Rod? Do you envision hugs and kisses and pats on the bum as the loving punishment for sin?

The problem we have today is the same as that day at Mt Sinai. Many have not received the Holy Spirit. So they cannot find a love for the Law. It is not written upon their hearts to love the Law.

Nah! I don't know which questions, nor how many.
Just know, there seems to be a reoccurring pattern that seems to suggest something that could be referred to as deliberate indiscretionary unaccountability (willingly ignorant). I've heard it called "fruit inspectors" elsewhere.
Which, to me anyways, is not as important as one's "depth of root structure/s." Which requires, "spiritual effort/s, and sacrificing/s", which is referred to in yet another "coined phrase", as a "works for salvation" doctrine. But, it isn't.
In the parable of the different "types" of ground upon which the "seed" (word of God) falls?
The "flesh eyes" see only the "good" ground.
Spiritual eyes, see? ALL the ground is GOOD! BECAUSE? "Where does the seed fall?" "On ALL the ground!" BUT? "YOU!" Have to MAKE it GOOD!
Flesh eyes, growing in the "good ground" see the rest of the ground where the "seed" is sown?" As everyone else, BUT themselves!
