I think Ezekiel’s temple is the body of Christ. Granted when you read about it it’s steeped in symbolism and hard to see.
My knowledge on Ezekiel’s temple is very limited but I base it on verses like the ones below.
1Pe 2:5 (KJV) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
We are the stones that the spiritual temple is built of. We offer up spiritual sacrifices in that temple. These things line up with Ezekiel’s temple.
Ezekiel’s temple has a river of living water, Christ said:
Joh 7:38 (KJV) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Again these things line up with Ezekiel’s temple. Ezekiel’s temple is also the fourth temple, not the third as some would say. Most people forget the tabernacle in the wilderness. The number four in the Bible usually points to spiritual or heavenly things.
Yep,,Paul is quoting Ezekiel 36:27 in 1 Corinthians 3:16 but I think not everyone's going to be ready to see that today...lol
Ones just as good as the next if it's of stone and wood, their never going to be the one not made of stone or wood though. The instinct I think will overcome them in the end and they will build one of stone and wood and set it in a place where it ought not be and say it is the temple in it's stead and that man will rise in it for those who seek after it thats the point of the error.
For Christians who are not familiar with Bible prophecy, the book of Ezekiel presents many things which are puzzling. But when all OT prophecies are taken into account, it fits right into the future of Israel after this is fulfilled: "all Israel shall be saved" (Rom 11:25).
Ezekiel's Temple will be the Millennial Temple in redeemed and restored Jerusalem. The prophecy of Ezekiel presents us with regathered, redeemed, and restored Israel in the Land of Promise (greater Israel extending from the Nile to the Euphrates) after the Second Coming of Christ. God Himself (with Christ) will commission the temple, and once it is complete, He will come to dwell in it for eternity.
Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut. Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut... Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.
(Ezek 44:1,2,4).
Scholars and Bible commentators are generally unable to reconcile the fact that even though the New Covenant has replaced the Old, there is a resumption of temple worship. Many have tried to allegorize and spiritualize away this prophecy, but honest interpretation and exegesis does not allow that. However if we keep in mind that God reveals all things in His good time, we should be able to take this prophecy in its plain literal sense.

But yet if I went up to the temple of God @KJV1611 and offered evil and hatred the Lord of Host in him would receive my foul fruits as mine offering in the temple of God. Again if I went up to any of the temples of God and mine offering was love I will have fulfilled the whole law.
It is not what I think. It is what God has said. And as indicated, God will reveal all things in His good time.
But a careful study of this prophecy shows that the twelve tribes who are settled in Israel at that time are all regenerated (a new heart and a new spirit). Which means that the blood of Christ (under the New Covenant) has been applied to their souls, and they have received the gift of the Holy Spirit under the NEW COVENANT.
EZEKIEL 36
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
No,,, Just No.... There will be a temple during the 1000 years in Jerusalem i believe.. This will be the final temple before the coming of the New Jerusalem City from heaven at the end of the 1000 years..
My understanding is that Ezekiel's Temple is the temple the 2nd Temple should have been, and the temple that the 3rd Temple will be. It is the perfect model for a Temple of God. The temple belongs in Jerusalem, or New Jerusalem. If the temple was symbolic and not a physical temple then measurements wouldn't have been given. I believe that the temple will descend from heaven with the prophesied measurements and that our inability to fully understand the measurements of Ezekiel is because God wants to be the creator of the eternal temple rather than leaving it to men. But he also wants us to see the accuracy of the prophecy being fulfilled, like a "CC" or "carbon copy" on mail language. "לידיעה בלבד".
Hmmm, so is Ephesians 2:19-22 a summation of the fulfillment of Ezekiel's temple?

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

This of which Ezekiel speaks will take place in the coming Kingdom Age. The Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, called the “Millennial Temple.” Jesus will rule and reign supreme (Isa., Chpt. 11).
The Scripture tells us that “waters,” i.e., “a river,” will issue out from under the threshold of the Temple and flow eastward. These waters will “come down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the Altar,” which means that the channel is the Altar of Jehovah, i.e., Calvary.
This River is a type of the Holy Spirit. Even though it will be a literal river in the coming Kingdom Age, still, its properties will be very similar to the Spirit of God.
First of all, “The Man with a line in his hand” is the Lord Jesus Christ. He Alone can measure, because the measurement is His.
At first, the waters were only to the “ankles”; this typifies the Holy Spirit changing our “direction.” Next, the waters were to the “knees”; this addresses our prayer life. Then, the waters were to the “loins,” speaking of our procreation abilities, i.e., the bringing of children into the Kingdom of God. Then, finally, it was “waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.” The Holy Spirit, of which all of this is a Type, is of such magnitude that no one has ever exhausted His potential, and no one ever will!
The waters will be living and life-giving; but there shall be no healing for the miry places (Vs. 11). Imperfection will continue to exist during the Millennium, for man will still be under trial. He will have freedom of choice. If he accepts Messiah’s rule, he will enjoy the blessings pictured in Verses 1 through 10 and Verse 12; but if he rejects that Government, he will be turned over to judgment, for Grace despised involves bitterness and death.
Millennium blessing will be powerful and abiding; it will greatly surmount and almost efface evil, but not entirely. Nor only in the New Heaven and New Earth will there be perfection (Rev., Chpts. 21-22).”
