The shocking display came less than a week after a twisted gunman used an AK47-type weapon to kill 22 people in a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.

It is the latest in a series of gun-related incidents that have been reported at Walmarts across the US since the massacre.

Cops say the camouflage-clad man walked into the Walmart in Springfield, Missouri, on Thursday and started pushing a shopping trolley around.

He was wearing body armour, military fatigues and was carrying tactical weapons.

Police say the man was recording himself walking through the store using his phone.

The store manager at the Neighborhood Market pulled a fire alarm, urging shoppers to escape the store.

Police say the man then made his way out of an emergency exit where a firefighter held the man at gunpoint.

At that moment Springfield Police arrived on scene and detained the

read the article for further Wal-mart incidents.

notice how someone with a gun stopped the man with a gun

the crazies are coming out of the woodwork though

I read that he claimed he was testing the state's open carry law. He tested it alright. The interesting thing is that what he did was not illegal in his state, just very very scary and stupid. But they want to bring him up on a bunch of charges anyway.

He is an idiot that is doing no favor to those of us who support open carry.
There is no reason to go to a Walmart with a rifle or dressed like a military operative.
When I open carry, I carry a western style revolver in a western style holster, and I present myself as friendly and I answer questions by who ever asks. I usually get very few questions but the ones I get I answer in a friendly manor. I smile and tip my hat to people, hold doors and be extra polite.
I have not carried open since the Walmart shooter for the sake of sensitivity. I'm not out to cause offense.

Are there not stern warnings pertaining to discord."

Next he can test prison food

He might be charged with terroristic threatening
No, they will never make that stick. To make terroristic threatening stick he would actually have to directly threaten someone.
Right.
I think some jail time in a psychiatric evaluation is warranted
I'm glad to know that we can be so judgmental and assign evil intent to a man who had no evil intent.
Jail time has never solved anything, it has turned people who did foolish things into actual criminals, but has never solved any problem.
He needs to make restitution for his actions, and he needs to have some consequences, and he needs a class in common sense, and self awareness, but more than anything else he needs to mentored in Christ.

Also let someone else already mentioned, this is basically the equivalent of yelling fire in a crowded theater. Very Reckless and irresponsible Behavior. Jail time will teach him that there are consequences for said Behavior
Also if you don't think this is a red flag then you are selectively blind. He definitely needs a psychiatric evaluation

right

we should just let everyone wander through stores with guns and ammo

maybe the security guards could hand that out as people enter the store

might become a 'thing'. that way, if anyone does have evil intent, 100 people can turn that around real quick and never mind the innocents like children or toddlers or people afraid of guns who get in the way

that's called collateral damage and everyone gets that

we can't judge anything because that is not our place. so open the jails and let come what may :devilish:

Right. We should let just any crazy idiot walk around arm for the zombie apocalypse because taking safety measures to make sure he doesn't shoot up another Walmart would be too judgmental

He would be benefited more by some time in a pew of a good church. The world cannot provide him with anything that will help.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Yeah dylann roof spent time in a pew listening to an entire Bible study then murdered 9 people

Out of line and a non sequitur.
We are talking about this guy alone., And what law he is facing and what he has done.
Not what ever future policy should be.

Like to set up straw men and knock them over huh?
Lol,
What this guy did was not smart, it was quite foolish, but he didn't actually commit a crime.
We can't start punishing people for what ever we believe their intent was. We are a nation and a nation must be governed by laws. Not feelings
