We read many times in the O.T. when God put His ppl under bondage to evil and cruel ppl mostly bc they were rebellious against Him! In this age that some of us love we have read about, seen thru documentaries and news the horrors of the Holocaust, the atrocities committed against those in third world countries, and the evil of persecutions. ..... How are we to behave to protect the lives of those that seek refuge in our belief of a Mighty God? I have read many testimonies of folks that lied, covered up,stole, and even committed murder to protect! We who live in a free country have not been faced with this YET! But what if........how are we required to act?

Do we of the faith of Jesus Christ think that this may not happen in our time? If only takes a spark of one madman,to ignite a fire! Are we prepared to live without food, shelter, medical attention and loved ones? Is OUR faith great enough to truly make us overcomers. Remember if WE DO NOT LEARN FROM HISTORY,WE ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT! I know we like to think in today's society...NO WAY, but if we go thru any part of severe persecution or even part of the tribulation can we stand firm? OF course we all want to say "YES"! This is the time.....BEFORE.... we must examine ourselves daily, pray without ceasing, study and allow the Holy Spirit to write God's word in our hearts, for WHO knows God's plan for testing and purifying His bride! His will be done in our lives!

Pray for our enemies without ceasing and neutralize them if or when necessary.

That thought is not hypothetical......it is a matter of time.
Yes we have and are now being confronted with the concept of elimination. What have we seen done about it...nothing.
The moral majority is loosing......and is part of G-d's plan to bring the church age, man's day, day of grace...to a close. ...it is a matter of time. We will soon be in a minority...if not already (when considering real Christians vs. ...and will have little power. If we are able to sustain Trump for 4 more years we will be blessed. After that...hold on.

....to protect what?

Removing everything from our society referencing G-d, including the bibles from motel rooms, has and is happening. Those trying to remove ......tax exempt of churches...... is the next step.

To protect those who sought what they were after from finding ppls, ration cards, radios ect.ect. I know in the O. T. times God told them to not leave even a hoof standing, but this was God's work. What if evil is in power and( as we know the enemy wants to destroy God) we help hide or protect large groups of ppl and other things for the necessity of life ,what are our actions to be? I agree the dispensation of Christ sacrifice is being closed and efforts are NOW being made to remove God from society! We must NOT close our eyes and ears and play dumb! We do not know when Jesus will return nor what may befall us before that time.

Christians must expose evil and evildoers, and if necessary disobey evil laws upon pain of death.

Yes as a single entity I agree. What of loved ones? I have heard thru underground rumours that masses of guillotine are being assembled even now,to what purpose?

Please clarify what you mean exactly. Each person must decide as to how they will deal with evil governments.

Well as you say these are rumours, but perhaps there is truth in them. In any event the Tribulation saints will indeed be beheaded.

I meant do you look out only for self in the event evil man reigns in your country or do you try everything in your power to protect your loved ones, family friends even those you may not know against evil? What may we be called upon to do for what is morally right. We do not know the future, even in our own time what may come upon the earth. The Christian hid after Jesus was crucified, millions of ppl have been exterminated before and since His resurrection. Are we strong enough to be called upon by what is right and just to fight evil face to face? These are questions I have been asking myself! In the event my family is threatened,I feel I would go to any lengths, and trust Jesus in His mercy!

Jesus tells us to pray for those who abuse us and that we do not fight against flesh and blood. God is love and those who are born of God love and are his children. We shall know them by their fruits

Naturally. And hopefully you would ask the Lord for wisdom to deal with any issue that threatens the safety of your loved ones.

We should recall that God sent Joseph, Mary and Jesus into Egypt for their safety, and so moving away from an unsafe zone would not violate any of God's commandments. Christians are not told to deliberately put themselves in harm's way, and in some cases it would be presumption.

I agree that we are not to put ourselves nor family in harm's way. I do believe it would have to be of the Lord's leading to move people about. Just what if there was no safe place to be?. I am asking these questions bc God alone knows what may be that we may face!

@controversial has aptly state that Rahab the harlot hid the spies from the enemy and received honorable mention in the N. T. for so doing. It was imputed to her for righteousness and she lied in doing so! T y dc!

What I want us all to be aware of us there may come a time in our own lives when we have to do something we know is wrong to make something right!

I know you have good intentions,
but it may be an ethical error to tell Christians to start thinking about doing wrong things.

I don't think that squares with any scripture.

Maybe we should take a deep breath, take s step back, and think more carefully about what we're saying.

God Bless.

Let's try looking at this differently

1. We should never, as Christians, ever say it's alright to do something wrong.

By definition, wrong is something you should not do.
There is no debate needed.

2. What we should do, is look at particular problems, and say,
"Are there particular circumstances where DIFFERENT PRINCIPLES come into play, and a thing which is normally wrong, by virtue of these different principles, may actually become ok."

This is how we should be looking at things.
Not whether it is ok to do something wrong.
But rather, are there perhaps overriding principles which, under certain circumstances, may take preeminence over the norm.

I think this approach will solve all the ethical dilemmas.

Confusion:

We don't want to mistake this for saying, "the end justifies the means",
or the "sometimes it's right to do wrong."

These views are never ok.

But there ARE TIMES when different principles come into play, and we are not doing something wrong at all, we are doing something which is NORMALLY WRONG, but which is NOT WRONG AT ALL under certain circumstances.

Examples:

1. Sex
A. It is always wrong for a man to go out and have wild sex with some hot girl.
B. However, it is SUDDENLY OK if that hot girl is his wife.

2. War
A. It is a personal sin to take another human's life.
B. It is not a personal sin to take another person's life if you are in a war, and you are acting under the authority and mandate of the state.

* It is another debate to talk about unjust wars, and how bad war is, etc etc.
* The issue here is culpability... and that a thing which is normally NOT justified, can in some circumstances BECOME justified... and not arbitrarily... but because overriding principles come into play.
