Both speaking in tongues and prophecy are called "gifts" in 1 Corinthians 12. Both are called "signs" in 1 Corinthians 14. The two concepts do not oppose each other.

Again tongues is prophecy the unseen spiritual gift. The sign is called a sign. The prophecy is called prophecy. No such thing as a sign gift . You will not find those two words (sign gift) working as one.

What God calls separate the counterfeiter god of this world calls one. Turning things upside down taking away the understanding of God.... The father of lies MO. The oppositer, apposer .

I'm actually 100% sure I am already saved. I've already seen a glimpse of my eternal future.

I am not saved by my own doing, but by the living God.

That's funny; you are the one saying that the two are one, where God says they are distinct.

It is definitely relevant. You keep claiming that tongues is a sign to unbelievers. I'm telling you that when Cornelius spoke in tongues, there were no unbelievers present. Therefore, your view regarding the sign of tongues is not valid.

I have explained this several times. I suggest that you read Acts 10 so that you understand the context.

Who was what unbeliever in the case of Cornelius, Peter ? Why keep mentioning that? Is it Cornelius that heard prophecy called tongues. Was it Peter? He had doubts and could not interpret the prophecy . Took another person (Cornelius) hearing the tongue of God, prophecy

What if there was a unbeliever there. What did the unbeliever confirm as a sign?

Be careful with angelology. From what I can tell, the angelic realm is mysterious for a reason. It's not for us to know really and they are VERY rarely seen. So if you have too much contact therewith I would be suspicious of the source.

Yes, we're all on this journey. I definitely know I do not have things figured out as well...typically I have more questions than answers when searching.

My entire childhood I never really thought of angels. They were never really mentioned in church other than just briefly. When I was sick I encountered one and actually thought it was Jesus due to the fact they were telling me about God and they are very god like in general.

Since then I've really studied my dreams. I wouldn't say they visit a lot at least visually. On the other hand I haven't been looking for them my whole life either if that makes sense. Typically there is a milestone involved with angels as well like the night I was baptized he spoke to me in Greek and when I looked it up it said " a new life." I assumed this just meant bc I was baptised. However exactly 1 year later I heard my son's heart beat for the first time and found out I was pregnant. We went through infertility for years and years so never expected that. I certainly wouldn't realize the dates matched 1 year to the day if I hadn't kept a dream journal. So that would be an example of an angel or at least God giving a message.

What does the sign confirm ?The law of belief or unbelief (no faith) .

Tongues confirms prophecy as a law not subject to change after a oral tradition of men that fall backward. .to show yet for all the prophecy they still believe not.

1 Corinthians 14:20-22 King James Version (KJV) Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that "believe", but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

What does the sign confirm ? belief or unbeleif.

AI will not be able to bring back the dead however with holograms it can be possible to fabricate raising the dead.

Stay with the Word of God, no matter what your 5 physical senses tell you. This is why God did not leave us on Earth as orphans but, gave us His Holy Spirit- The Spirit of Truth. Our physical senses can not deceive us even if the whole world follows a lie - we cannot and will not. Thanks be to God alone. He is watching out for us, amen.

Maybe we need to understand from G-d's perspective, we don't "die" we lose our "earth clothes" and return to our spiritual home in our spiritual bodies. Scripture tells us we are "compassed around " by those who have gone before.

Yes in their new born again spirit. (not flesh and blood). No one has received their new incorruptible bodies. They will not be like these (flesh and blood, male nor female, Jew or Gentile). The corruptible are subject to death it will not enter the new heavens and earth

Not seeing death as to rise to new spirit life is for all believers. on the last day all will they will receive it. Corruption (flesh and blood) will not put on the incorruptible .

The other alternative would seem to be "reincarnated" a hope of the Jehovah Witnesses, and Catholicism being alive does not mean flesh and blood .Without the spirit essence of life at the most it can return to where it was formed of .The clay of the field.

That was Peter's false hope by which he started a oral tradition as a lie..in so much that he thought John in his flesh and blood could profit not dying. Even though Jesus said of his own flesh and blood it profits for nothing. Its the unseen Spirit that does perform the work that does profit us.

Jesus said if every time a person started a flesh and blood rumor in respect to the flesh and blood of mankind this creation under the Sun in that way the whole world would not be able to contain that kind of wishfull carnal thinking written in a book .

Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written John 21:22-25

I did also but did not wake up during so I have no memory of the kind of healing, but it still counts as a healing... I am not locked up as of yet .
