I have been called to be isolated. No religious involvement, no friends other than Josephine, lost contact with family some years ago. Past few weeks spent most of my time home alone, praying, worshipping and meditating. Didn't get much sewing done!

Curry Blake talks about that, when we go all out for Him there are times and perhaps many times, we are going to alone, but we are alone with Him, it seems based on the amount of vital relationship with Him.

Are you wearing a shirt that says I love Jesus or testifying about Jesus as you walk in the mall? If not, no one is probably thinking wow that guy must be a Christian and really made an impact on my life.

If you are doing those things and that is why people are noticing you, then good for you and that may very well be a gift.

You take what he says so lightly, do you? Please allow people with discernment to answer him back while you remain quiet. Makes sense, right? Think about it.

I ignored the negativity. I know it's from the Holy Spirit. They can feel the energy. Those people would walk away perplexed. The mustard seed is planted

How do you know they were perplexed? Are you saying you felt their energy as well? Why is someone being perplexed a mustered seed? In what way did you perplexing people increase their faith or bring them closer to God? And how can you tell that you perplexing them had that effect on them?

Do you stare at people too? Is that how you came to know they were staring at you?

PERHAPS the lack of response is because WISDOM tells us that certain things are not to be spoken about openly in a place like CC.

Didn't know spiritual gifts were to be kept top secret and to mention your gift is throwing it before swines.

Where in scripture did Jesus say, hide your gifts that no one will see them?

People will chat their personal business, but the spiritual gifts outlined in scripture which God has blessed them with they can't talk about?

If people don't know your gift, how will they know if they can come to you for help with a particular issue that only you alone could help with in a way that is much more excellent than someone who does not have that gift?

I'm getting so irritated with people misusing scripture to support their ridiculous opinions.

I am in no way offended by correction, either to myself or others.
I simply understand what was trying to be expressed. Perhaps not all the terminology was correct, and that is where arguments/debates/ misunderstanding and feeling the need to "correct" someone starts.

Are you offended that someone is beginning to step into a deeper walk with the Lord, is excited by what the Lord is showing them/having them do, and wanting to share it?

I don't know of any "secret gifts", but I do know many people who operate in the different gifting's ..... not many of them come out saying "my gift is......."

Have you ever had the experience of pulling up at a traffic light and looking at the guy in the car next to you, only to have him turn and look back at you? Why did he do that? Because he FELT your attention energy and your consciousness focused at him and turned to see where it was coming from. His animal instincts told him to do so because some part of him was sensing that energy. My spiritual gifts are teaching,encouragement,and intercession! For many yrs. I taught Sun. School from infants to mixed adults,( this was also how God taught me). I was a mentor to a young ladies ministry,where we talked about their upcoming life and the choices facing them. I love to see ppl smile and be encouraged,life is hard and with all our choices there are consequences. I would love to help lift someone's burden if only for a while. People so badly need to know they are not alone in this chaotic world and that someone does care. We are to let our lights so shine before man. I love being intimate with the Father,I pray throughout the day and night. My greatest hope is that I can stand in the gap for someone else's needs,or lack of faith to strengthen their prayers. There is NOTHING too small or too big,or to shameful to talk with the Father about.

Yes, I believe the indwelling Christ is being let out of you, that is what marks the Spirit filled Christian from the outward form christian.
Jesus told us there would be some who would hold to an outward form and deny the power thereof, you are walking in the power he came to bring us.
