Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

How can anything our Creator utters do anything but!

Even when He destroys something it is a removal of that which profanes or seeks to destroy love.

How do the laws written on stone help us become obedient people.

Are you a Christ man? Doesn't matter your background, same exact life is being offered to WHOMSOEVER WILL.
Since that time the kingdom of GOD is preached. EVERYMAN presseth into it and not a dot of it is going to fail.

That casual loose kick back law of Moses is being replace by the KINGDOM OF GOD. Our Jesus is stepping up the game. The Pharisees had loosed up the law even more with Corbin. Jesus is going to set us straight on all that when He explains our new laws. Laws written on out in our hearts AND minds. "OH I didn't know" not going to fly. NO EXCUSES. There is a real deal coming. There is a judgement day coming. Once you have heard the truth, your choice to believe it or walk away. Sail your ship well. There is a right side and a deceptive side.

Amazing verse, Luke 16:16!

That same phrase, the law and the prophets, is what Jesus says not a single letter will pass away from.

But here he says the law and the prophets were up until John.

I've talked in the past about reading the law for wisdom. But perhaps a more cautious approach is in order. maybe something like studying all of God's word as part of the process of gaining wisdom.

It is a metaphor.

Metaphorical "Life" being Spiritual Life/Eternal Life.

It prescribes the attachment of life to Gods Words, words that are written, every word.

It would not be a stretch at all to paraphrase His words to say

Mat 4:4 KJV But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

A man can receive life "through" every written word of God.

I am led to see it like that. So, while Grace through faith is how we are redeemed, Life proceeds through the New Creations love and desire to know and keep His Written words.

You will "instinctively" by way of "Spiritual persuasion", do that which is not only civil, but also ceremonial, and of course moral.
But, you left out one. OFFERINGS! Like say the "offering of firstfruits. (IMPORTANT!)" Is not the "gift" of the Holy Spirit, where which we as believers start baring "fruit?" So, should not one who has these fruits OFFER the firstfruit back TO the ONE who gave it us as a "gift?" For EACH fruit? (hint. It's not Christ we are to offer these firstfruits to)
Ask God! "Take any firstfruits, I may have that are ready!" It's that simple!

This is what I see you, and others doing. Though, you may not be aware of it. Er perhaps, you are?

When you say that Articles of clothing will be the furthest thing from your mind, I understand you to be saying that this commandment

Deuteronomy 22: 11. You shall not wear a mixed stuff, wool and linen together.

Is part of the ceremonial law, or the civil law, not the moral law. And that commandment wouldn't need to be followed today.

Am I understanding you correctly about that?

So do we keep all his words?

You have been shown passages like Sabbath keeping, What to do when a man rapes a woman, and types of clothing. They are words which proceded from the mouth of God. So are we to follow those words to?

And I am still waiting?

1. Where it tells us HOW to obey the command?
2. Where it tells us all possible ways in which we can break this command?
3. What we should do instead?

Where in this command does it tell us how to do these things?

Please have a look at the context from which Jesus cited that passage;

Deu 8:1-11 NASB "All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to give to your forefathers. So do you obey every one of those ordinances, or do you pick and chose which ones you obey? And how do you know you obey them?
