As one who has far too many question, this was received well….

Insatiable, unquenchable curiosity can sometimes kill the peace His all knowing brings.

God will not answer all your questions but His presence should put the questions to rest. We need to see God as He truly is - His Providence, Omnipotence, and Love - that is what we need. Jacob, Habakkuk, Moses, and Paul, to name a few, came to know that the details of our lives are in Gods hands - THEREFORE, we trust Him.

The answer to every question in this life is found in His presence and His promises.

What is our position to be? Answer: Jesus is coming.

He quoted him saying Heidelberg Catechism said this and it rings true.

.Q.
What does it benefit us to know that God has created all things and still upholds them by his providence?

A.
We can be patient in adversity, 1
thankful in prosperity, 2
and with a view to the future
we can have a firm confidence

in our faithful God and Father that no creature shall separate us
from his love; 3
for all creatures are so completely in his hand
that without his will
they cannot so much as move. 4

2.Deut 8:10; 1 Thess 5:18.
3.Ps 55:22; Rom 5:3-5; 8:38, 39.

yes, I understand your frustrations better now, as I use to as well, teeter in fear and trembling, worrying that I wasn't considering the what ifs and warnings enough. I use to ASSUME that you hadn't considered them, that you think applying was not important to our FAITH. Sorry for that error in judgement.

Now, If I am correct in understanding what you said about the wisdom of God the other day to someone else.. it is because we believe His truth, we apply. It is because you take God and His salvation brought so seriously, you feel compelled to make sure that it is His work, not ours, remains at the core of God's Glory and Truth. <my paraphrasing... I know, quit complicating it with so many words...hahaha.

But...that does NOT mean being a doer of the word doesn't bring great significance to our walk. You know that and that is not your point in the first place, not what you oppose.

Rut roh, please bear with me if I am twisting, contradicting or misunderstanding you.

I am not as settled as you with many things, but I do believe the God of our Salvation is.

Full disclosure...
I still think that if in the same room, and you were raking me or someone over the coals, so to speak, I would be shivering, hoping I was wearing depends, hahaha.

So I will leave you to your ministry..:)

God Bless you brother..
