My neighbor used to give me a can of that yucky ribbon candy around Christmastime. I hated it but it was always in a decorative can, so I'd just set it out as a holiday decoration. I never refused it because I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

Thinking back...the only toy I've taken into adulthood as an all-arounder (and conveniently only $3) is a slinky.

I had many favorites though and picking one categorically...?!???!??
