No, why would i?

Moreover, i don't own livestock or farmland, and there isn't even any such thing as a temple shekel anymore, nor a priest to value the few tomatoes and herbs i grow, nor any Levite in temple service to receive it, so i could not tithe even were i to be shown i were obligated to.
I love when they bring up tithe, basically a state income tax of Israel.

Yet I keep posting what those three said and you keep telling me I am wrong, and that I need to look elsewhere, and every time I try to explain it to you. You keep directing me elswheere, meaning you evidently do not agree with what those three said.

Yes, Good day, You can take your hebrew roots and live under law..

me, I will focus on Christ.
Could you have stuck with "I will focus on Christ." ?

Is Christian on Christian combat a real thing?

After successfully winning my request to stop going to the RCC I was a sincere Bible reader, and wanted to see what the variances there were between both the ethos and doctrines of the AOC. Close friends, but entrenched in ungodly thinking and practices.

I now fellowship with individuals who love the Word of God and who ascribe to the teaching of the Holy Spirit.
So you used to go to a Roman Catholic Church but then you started getting involved with the Assemblies of Christ?

You liked the Assemblies of Christ but they had ungodly thinking and practices?

Now you are generally non-denominational and don't go to a Church?

I was clarifying because I wasn't sure if AOC stood for Assemblies of Christ. Then I wasn't sure if the 'close friends' referred to AOC or RCC.

I would say it is belief points discussed. Where people are spiritually is often only discerned by the
heart. When generalised statements are made without focusing on the detail or essential differences,
it becomes too personal and not enough on foundations and how things can move.

If one is about to die tomorrow, talking about things that takes months to resolve is pointless.
With a sincere desire to explore one anothers convictions, it is about listening and giving as best a description
as possible to see if something more can be gleaned.

I have notice some just to want to knock blocks off others, rather than empathise and take the listen along.
Jesus was always about talking to people who were open and interested.

It is always a blessing to hear different perspectives. Hebrew roots is interesting, except some actually desire
to be jews, which is not the point, rather to see the depths of Jesus speaking through scripture and the festivals
etc. God bless you

Sorry, TYPO AOG I was having keyboard issues, and hopefully will not be making nearly as many errors!

To your point about my AOG experiences. Very clean, regimented, orderly, structured, but so much so that there was no place for the Holy Spirit to guide teaching on the Higher Level doctrinal matters. "Sorry that's not IAW our foundational principles to even discuss" An excellent place for me for a time. God moved me, not necessarily because He is not there, but wanted me elsewhere.

When you say you don't go to "Church" you are saying you don't go to "called out ones" in the literal sense of the Greek word. The buildings/assemblies we call churches are not all "called out ones" as you are aware.

I fellowship with "called out ones" every chance I get! More so than when I attended "Church". Will I ever be called back to a "Church" That is for God to determine. I am sensitive to that.

thats your problem you think all these people ar christian. I would not make that assumption. Unless I believed in universal christianity, which i do not

Even paul understood not everyone in our churches were christian.

As he did, And james did, And Peter did. Some doctrines are so dangerous, they need to be put down.

Yes, and when we comment on these things we must bow low, lower than low. If to help one another to take that humble position where God many exalt us we are so close to exalting ourselves, and it makes me nervous, nervous like standing on a shaky ladder leaning against a flimsy branch! The possibility of good fruit better be worth the risk. I hope so and hopefully as my own fear of "calling out" is risky busniness put myself in a watchful position.

TWO ABSOLUTE GUARANTEES!

The humble Will be exalted
The Proud Will be humbled

Tis one thing sir, to be, or become humble, in trying to help, and/or edify another.

Tis quite another, when these "efforts" are seen as "a bridge too far", and therefore are wrong! CONSTANTLY!!

It causes me to feel, he is trying more in the convincing of himself.

Cuz, he ain't convincing me!

Been THERE! Done THAT! Got the battle scars to prove it!

So? As long as he tries to convince others, that growing in the "seedling pot", is the ONLY pot you GET?
So, there is no NEED in even ASKING for a larger pot? As per "tradition of man?"

I'll keep on posting and showing the smallness, of his pot! And? The adversary/ies that keep convincing him of this!

Far as myself? I'm just a retired dumas truck driver. Not much smarter then the box of rocks I usedta pull out of large holes in the ground.

From a state, where you can find more portraits of former governors on post office walls, then you can in the state capital! ;)

So, when I enrolled in home school courses from Moody? And, His voice spoke in my ear: "You want them to teach you?" "Or, Me?"

Best 500.00 bucks I ever threw away!

Usedta use drugs, loose women, and alcohol? QUITE SERIOUSLY!

Reckon God seen the "serious dedication" I had? And, said to Himself: "I can use this!"

That was 35 years ago!

Are you unable to give me an answer?

Or unwilling?

Is it wickedness for me to wear a poly-cotton blend shirt or pair of socks?
:) unwilling for what reason?

Yes. For you it is wickedness. When you KNOW to do right but then do not do it, it is sin. You, Post, brought it up so you know.

"For by the law comes the KNOWLEDGE of sin."

I think Y gave a great answer!

PH, if you arrive at a conclusion that God does not like something then you would naturally do what? I know you would stop. If you think that God only wanted the Israelites to do this then you would ask: why only them? Is it wrong for me to do what is right for them? Was it due to static disturbances within the anatomy/physiology of a human? If so, would it in the least be wise for me to consider this for me? Keep thinking about all of it and seek answers through prayer and fasting. Even the verse below talks to this;
2Ch 16:9 KJV For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

You will know them by their fruit of the Spirit no matter the label. There are only two Spirits in the world. Those who have the Holy Spirit will continue to display its fruits even towards their "enemies". Those who have not that spirit but a counterfeit spirit will always reveal themselves in time. That's what the Word of Truth does. The counterfeit spirit can't help it. It's a trigger.

The flesh HATES the law of God like Paul says, and can not obey it. For the law is spiritual while those still in their flesh are carnal.

Some Grace is given?

Some Grace, is given as the believer grows.

Some Grace, is asked for, or, requested by the believer. And "goes into review", so to speak.

As for the servant who buried his talent in the ground, because he knew how hard his master was? And, was taken away from him?

The "motto" of this analogy is: "Ya won't ever MISS. what ya won't ever USE!" - El Shaddai

If it helps you to label me then by all means. I've been called 7th day Adventist, messianic Jew, Hebrew roots, Pharisee, religious nut by atheists. I've heard it all. I won't stop though. We're tasked with building up the body.

Your first mistake is assuming I need help..

Your not building up the body. Your trying to tear it down by trying to push the ministration of death written on stone.

Universal Christianity? Please explain
It states anyone who claims to be christian or is able to post a few verses and sound spiritual is headed to heaven and part of the true body of Christ.

I think a better question would be to ask WHY Israel could not obey, What was the issue they had? So that we do not make the same mistake.

And to see, Well these people were wonderful people of God. What motivated them. And these people were religious doo gooders who preached obedience, acted like religious people. But had no spiritual guidance in them, and see what motivated them

Then take these things, and LEARN from them

I was waiting to hear your side and your views and what it all means to you. I would like to hear how you feel it all fits in. If you already posted these, Please let me know and I shall go read them and we shall move on. I find I do better with the back and forth in some situations, and once we have gotten your take I will pose a question? Sound good?
Sure! I would put it this way,
use the law as a general guideline, but not think of yourself as being bound by the letter of it.

And I would think too that the spirit might lead one person to keep a particular law differently than another person. One person is led to put blue tassels on their jacket, another person is not.

2 Timothy 3

But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. For men will be:

- lovers of themselves
- lovers of money
- boastful
- arrogant
- abusive
- disobedient to their parents
- ungrateful
- unholy
- unloving
- unforgiving
- slanderous
- without self-control
- brutal
- without love of good
- traitorous
- reckless
- conceited
- lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

...having a form of godliness but denying its actual power. Turn away from such as these!

They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith. But they will not advance much further. For just like Jannes and Jambres, their folly will be plain to everyone.

You, however, have observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance, my persecutions, and the sufferings that came upon me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them. From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures {{There was no "New Testament" when Paul said this}}, which are ABLE to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
