Friends or Christ

I gave up my friends for Christ. They didn't except me as a christian. They make me look like the bad person. And say I'm the one that changed. They call me a Jesus Freak and except it to hurt me. Why do I feel like the quilty one. I would choose Christ over them any day. But why does it feel like I'm losing everyone. First most of my family. Then my friends. I have no christian friends. I have no one to encourage me. To have bible studies with. To go to when i need someone with the heart for Christ.
Is change such a bad thing?

At least now you know what kind of friends they actually were. Look up the local youth and college age groups at your local churches, find out where they meet, then show up. Great way to make Christian friends.
 
I have my GED. And I've tried youth groups. Ever youth group I've been too doesn't take it serious.

I sympathize with your situation, and although I do not have advice as to where you can gain strong Christian fellowship in your local area, I would encourage you until then to cause your heart to rejoice as the world around you turns away from you specifically because of your faith in Jesus Christ. It is actually a cause for great celebration!!!

hi there sister in Christ.
i've read your post. and i think a lot of christians really go through that same situation. especially teenagers. i still don't memorize the Bible's content but i'm sure i've read one verse that says, "blessed is the one who is persecuted for His name."

if you find it difficult to have people you can share your journey with, i'm here :)
and other bro's and sisters here in CC.
above all, there's JESUS. you can always pour your heart out to him ;)

Also it is to be expected the world hated Christ long before it hated you so they will hate you of course. And you did change but you are more yourself in Christ than you are when you are apart from him. If any be in Christ they are a new creation behold the old has passed away and new has come - 2 corinthians 5:17. As for a youth group just keep looking is my advice I was very blessed to be introduced to a theologian for a youth pastor instead of a baby sitter/entertainer. Also this is comforting when surrounded by darkness “Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.” Luke 18:29 & 30

Seriously? omg im a christian and most of my mates think religion is a total joke and they hate it, they know im a christian and i always say christian things and they dont mind, itd never change anything between us, sorry but your friends are just douchebags! Who doesnt like someone for what they believe or who they are?? how Hitler of them lol. since they dont want to be ur friend cos what u believe is just too harsh and weird find sum1 who will be freinds with anyone despite their beliefs/religion/race/whatever.

Look. I haven't got any christians friends too ( only here, in cc) But in real life... Nope. But I am not sad, becouse JEsus is my Best Friend - best and only friend. You should make Him your best friend too :) Ask to Him, that he would give you real christian friend in earth too. :D When I was writing answere to you, I got the answere too :D God is so nice :) Lets pray to Him (both of us) for the same thing, and I'm sure, He will give us christians friends :)
