I do feel someone being interested in wrath and judgement but just F.Y.I if you ever come back on to browse the thread @I-Am-Murica...the mentality that you are coming at this with and the way you are using your words does not promote holiness or a clean example for other believers. In fact, speaking like this is vengeful (in my view) and I'm sure you are aware that it is written that vengeance is the Lord's. So just bear in mind that it is error to stew to that effect.

Rev 6:10-11 I would recommend taking a look at. They are told to be patient. So should anyone that is eager for the Lord's wrath.

I don't think it's anti-scriptural to be curious or anticipatory in regards to wrath but singling out a particular sin and using derogatory slang is where the red flags come in for me. To use powerful language is fine but also beware of the standard by which you are judging.

Scripture uses powerful descriptive words but I have not come across a "vulgar" sentence. The enemy uses vulgar, unclean words/phrases...it's the way they are said. Fundamentally backward. So be mindful of that.

Every thought should be taken captive and every word examined.


I'm predicating this post on the fact that you feel a particular burden that has been twisted or perhaps had a brush with something foul and your railing is a byproduct. If not? Possibly useful for someone. Peace

I can't say you made the right decision @RickyZ but there are "real time" choices we have to make in life that are kind of beyond us. They make us think, they make us search, they make us dig. I've had deep soul searching from traffic violations (lol)...and then felt like I'm lukewarm because I took one "lesser of two evils" choice, hoping the Lord would work it out and give me peace about it.

and then...it sort of falls off my radar for a while but it bears relevancy when a new decision of conscience comes to the fore.

Usually I ask for another opportunity if I made the wrong choice and endeavor to be more careful in the future. A lot of stuff like this seems like a good opportunity for the Lord to open a door with someone I wouldn't have ever talked to otherwise (In my view). I may be naive about that though. I don't often go that route anymore...I have seen the Lord work there for sure...I just don't know if I was supposed to if that makes sense. I'm still on my own journey of understanding my "standing" and security. Where I'm empowered to walk and where not to.

I mean, one could easily ask the question...if you knew someone were "active" with their partner (straight) before their marriage and they decided they needed to be married and that's what the Lord wanted. Would you be supporting their prior sin by attending? Or rejoicing in their decision to marry? I'm not so sure that attending a wedding is an unqualified endorsement of them as people or their choices but it is certainly an ordeal/event. Useful thread...gets one thinking. Thanks for bringing up the question in a public forum. Caused me to re-examine being pharasaical and legalistic a bit and how I personally feel about the whole debate.
