Regardless of being dealt in measure....faith is faith....and even the smallest amount (mustard seed) can move mountains..........Yes, faith is faith but, there are different levels of faith and in each level there are various measures.
Oftentimes, Yeshua/Jesus would respond, “So be it unto you according to your faith.”
Faith is given to us by our Father in Heaven. It is Heavenly knowledge that we cannot refute or deny - we immediately know it is TRUE and act upon it.
The Father gives faith to us at different levels and measures- it’s how we receive our needs from Him.
Not sure if any of this makes sense to you but, ponder faith and ask the Father questions about it..... enjoy your conversation!![]()

Trivia Question: when the women arrived at Jesus's tomb was the stone at the door rolled away or still barring entry?
@Deade You are correct, the stone was already rolled away before they got there.
The opposite is also correct, the stone was still barring entry when they got there (Matthew 28:2).
Actually to fit them both together, you will notice Matt. 28:1 simply states when the women came. Then in verse 2 we are told the reason the stone "was" removed. Past tense. It looks like (28:2) he just did roll it away but that would make John's account in error. The angel descending and the earthquake could have happened way before then. Remember, we are working with second-hand narratives.![]()
Thanks Deade, I wasn't sure about that but was ready to concede the point however I checked and it is crystal clear that the women (and guards) witness the whole thing - the angel comes and rolls back the stone which frightens them, then talks to them and tells them to not to fear.
So you have to reconcile both scriptures. Which one is wrong? View attachment 201363
My guess is.....
It is still dark or right before dawn, just as Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James (I think this is Yeshua/Jesus' mother) are approaching they hear and feel the earthquake and discover the stone rolled away and the guards running off so they assume the guards took the Lord's body away and the two Marys immediately turn and run to tell Peter.
Peter and John run to the tomb along with the other women all running back to the tomb too. Peter and John discover it empty. Peter is a bit confused (and feeling a tad guilty because of his denial) but, John is thinking Yeshua/Jesus is possibly alive from the dead. Peter and John leave.
Mary Magdalene is really upset now thinking the Lord's body has been stolen and Peter and John are doing nothing about it. She stoops to peek inside the tomb and sees two angels that ask her why she is weeping. She answers them, "because someone has taken the body of my Lord."
Then, Yeshua/Jesus appears behind her outside the tomb and also asks her why she weeps. Mary Magdalene turns to explain and thinks He is the Gardner. It is Yeshua/Jesus and she recognizes His voice but His appearance is different. He says, "Mary" and she immediately says, "Rabboni, Master!"
Then, the rest of the women who had been focused on the angels turn and see the Lord. All the women fall down and worship Him at His feet but are instructed not to touch Him. He instructs Mary to go and tell His disciples He will meet them in Galilee - first He must ascend to the Father in Heaven.
The angels instruct the other women of the same, to go and tell the disciples that Yeshua/Jesus is alive and He will meet them in Galilee and be sure to tell Peter.
Mary Magdalene and the other women arrive and tell the 11 disciples most of which do not believe. Peter then runs out to the tomb one more time alone only to find the linen clothes just as they were when he and John had seen them earlier.
Later, just as Yeshua/Jesus had said, He meets them in Galilee!
Well, that's my understanding of the order of events so that it makes sense to me. However, we can all easily see it differently.....![]()
