I agree with some and disagree with some.
You can not love God who you do not see and hate your brother who is with you everyday; you love God by loving others and by this you fulfill the one command.

Loving others has to be a work/deed, not a claim or a thought.
I agree with what you wrote .. how can you disagree with anything I said - lol .. just kidding, I truly believe all I say or I wouldn't say it but not all need to agree with me as, of course, you are entitled to be wrong .. again, just kidding .. upon rereading what you said about fulfilling the one command IF we love our brother, not hate him, I guess I would have to ask what does such love entail .. love requires action, so what action(s) would loving our brother require ..

by not sinning, we serve God by sinning and not repenting, we serve Satan and we cannot serve two masters
I have newsflash for you salvation is not even given based on our contrition for sin, repent does not mean to feel sorry for one's sin... so

your whole argument is based on faulty understanding.

It is faith that is counted for righteousness.

Simple; doing to others what you would like to be done to you.

I agree 100% .. how can one deny God and still be with Him in Heaven for eternity .. doesn't even make sense, does it .. God will not force anyone to come to Him or to stay with Him .. He allows us to choose to come to Him and hopes we shall choose that and He allows those with Him to choose to stay with Him or to leave Him and hopes all with Him will choose to stay .. if God forced people to come to Him and stay with Him, Heaven would be a prison in which all there would be locked in and not able to leave .. what kind of Heaven is that .. if we choose to live in unrepentant sin, we choose to die as sin brings death, and we choose the lake of fire for all eternity .. if we sin but choose to genuinely repent and God reads hearts so knows, we restore the life sin takes away and we choose to return to God and to doing His Will, not ours, for eternal happiness .. Christ died to grant us the "free" gift of salvation but as with any gift, the gift of salvation must be accepted and used not abused and kept not discarded or lost .. Christ offered the gift to ALL but each must choose what to do about His offer .. He will allow us our choice and our choice is our consequence as well ..
Welcome and Blessings!🙏🙏🙏

If the new creature cant go back to the old creature. Then that's sinless perfection. Yet I am accused of being a legalist.
You mean like you do accusing those who believe in OSAS as using it as an excuse to sin.

Like that lady at the bus stop who told you that God loves you then looked down on the alcoholic guy.

If memory serves me you thought "Why not tell this man he was loved by God"

A was at the bus stop a few years ago and a women told me "God loves you", then she looked down on a man with missing fingers, who had a drinking problem and gave him evil eyes. Why not tell the drunk man that God Loves him. But no she looked down at him with disgust. Such fake love, only choosing who you will love.

Alot of you people are exacly like this women from OSAS. You look down on others with disgust and I read your comments:(
Now what was a funny question to ask yourself given that you were not a Christian at the time, as you said.

Yet later on you said you went to a church where OSAS was preached.

I tried to address this and asked questions.

One I did not ask was that "Did that church look down on you?

If so I'm glad you left it.

But please do not harp on about being accused when you yourself accuse.

Discussion and accusations are two totally different things.

sin brings death .. unrepentant sin ensures death .. eternal life will not happen if unrepentant sin exists as unrepentant sin ensures death, not life .. so "conditional" in that OSAS can only be for those who believe and love and NEVER sin or REPENT when they do sin ..
That’s conditional life my friend. That’s law. That’s self righteousness that’s anything but the gospel and it is most certainly NOT ETERNAL LIFE

Romans 7:8 -

"But [the] sin, seizing its opportunity through [/by means of] the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the Law, sin is dead."

Romans 7:11 -

"For [the] sin, seizing its opportunity through [/by means of] the commandment, deceived me and through [/by means of it] the commandment put me to death."

Pay no attention. He does that to almost everyone. He won't respond, including saying G-d's word is ..."babble", etc..
We are commanded to treat some people as unbelievers if they refuse to repent of sinful
behaviour. Treating a believer in Christ as a deceiver, evil, satanic, leading people to hell,
and going to hell themselves is enough to isolate them in all good conscience before the Lord.

We stand before the Lord in all things, and such behaviour comes from a heart that has little
sensitivity or ability to see how wrong this is, in a real eternal perspective.

But once this divide is understood, things are fine. They will continue in their previous
behaviour because for them nothing has changed. God bless you.

No I haven't changed my mind. I will never follow OSAS Eternal security gospel ever again. I am 100% sure of that because it did nothing for my life. Nor did it free me from my sinful lifestyle. So I was looking for something else that would rescue me from my sinful state and I found the truth. We need to Obey God. Otherwise sin will destroy our lives. I have seen the affects of sin on my life and in the lives of other around me. "SIN" is not taken seriously in OSAS. It's taken lightly. But I have seen the destruction it causes. One sin leads to another, and continues like a domino effect.

One day you may see how bad sin can destroy your life and your familie's lives.
OSAS Eternal security gospel or working for salvation do not free us from our sinful lifestyle.

The Holy Spirit in us frees us from our sinful lifestyle.
Jesus in us does that.

An alcoholic like you were was set free and healed from it by Jesus.
An alcoholic who has no faith can stop drinking as well yet they stop.
Yet they have no gospel either way.

As I said to a post you made earlier which I did not see a response, well you did but it was tersery, and when I even said I thank God that he healed you from your alcoholism and would use you like he has been using me to bear fruit and do the good works prepared for you, your response was flippant at the least.
I only beared fruit when I rejected OSAS.
Did not even address the question "I hope God is using you to help others who were like you"

I hope you are not like that woman you met at the bus stop.

You did not even have the courtesy to say "I thank God healed you even though I jumped the fence opposite the one you know sit on and I was freed from gambling.

so, Christ's death aka payment of debt incurred by sinfulness, means "license to sin and not face condemnation if we choose not to repent" ..
The power of sin is in the law not grace, therefore grace is not a license to sin

Grace is the solution to the problem, not the problem, and stating the grace is a "license to sin" is a slander against grace, you do realise this right?

One has to ask the question.

If some are belivers and they refuse to repent then we need to consider whether they are belivers.

We cannot consider that until we come alongside.
Now if we address the situation with them, using Romans 5-6 and they reject it and say something like "I can sin all I want and still be saved"

Then shake the dust off our feet.

Yet if they hate what they do then let's walk with them.
I'm fed up with people who say "Well just stop it"
When people seek help to tell them that will have the affect of being condemned.
After all if they could just stop it then they would not be seeking help.

If there is an affect there will always be cause.

Are we willing to be used by Jesus to to reveal the affect of just to add to the cause.
When people are willing to be used by Jesus to be used for those who genuinely want release then let's go for it.

If not shake the dust off our feet and walk away.

Then that is not the belief that saves, it is the wrong belief... because belief IN Him for the gift of salvation saves and it not a temporary or conditional salvation.
Believe Jesus save, and If you stop believe not save.

The police Will not pull you as long as you drive at 55 oN the free way that post mas 5
If you chang your speed to 65 you subject to get speeding ticket

You tell the police

I was drive 55 for 10 hour, and just at 65 for 3 minute,

Police say, the law say it is unlawful to drive more than 55

You say u was believe in Jesus but not anymore, why I am not save

Jesus as a judge say

Only believer save, you no longer believer than you lose your salvation

If you believe to the end of your life, you save forever not temporary.

You temporary believe and stop believe before you die, why you expect save forever.
