Best if you hit the reply button to my post then I will receive notification when you respond...it is a help.

We do not stop sinning to be born again... if we could stop sinning there would be not need of a saviour.
So you have two choices the law or grace..... salvation by grace through faith does not state stop sinning.
Written to believers -> Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more......

Either a doctrine is in the Bible and it is true, or it is not in the Bible at all and it is not true. I have not found a single verse in the Bible that clearly says that once a person is saved they will always be saved. Not even close . . .
Then you have not read the bible......

Tell us all what the word IRREVOCABLE MEANS......

Well I am not a Calvinist, I do not believe that a person's performance of good works, the promise of good works, or the evidence of good works MUST accompany faith in Christ in order to establish, or provide evidence, that such faith has resulted in eternal life.

This doctrine has caused immeasurable harm over the years imho.
Amen and they still skip right over

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Before you go any further we believe ALL people who have true faith produce works. True faith works. So the lie that we believe one can say a prayer and magically they are saved no matter what is not true it takes true repentance which leads to true faith
2 truths

All true believers have done the work of the Father and....

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

take it up with God...your BEEF IS WITH HIS WORD NOT ME, and while your at it, in honesty explain the following verse....the other salvation losers cannot, will not, simple reject or side step it..

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 4:5: And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

There are two ways people attempt to gain salvation. One is by working to obtain it. The other is to believe in Jesus Christ. The one who believes in Jesus is the one who is justified. Works never have nor ever will help anyone to be justified.

Hebrews
10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
one of the go to sets of verses to peddle the loss of salvation....context and it does not teach the loss of salvation

There is no "greasy grace".... that is a slander people use against the true Gospel of Christ Jesus
I agree 100%.....grace is a position one is placed into upon belief.....the term greasy grace is a misnomer and a term of derision devised by those that oppose grace.......

Yes this is what they argue and falsely teach... OSAS leads to immorality.

You have their playbook down pat... I pray you get out asap!!
The fact she rejects the imputed righteousness of Christ by faith which the BIBLE CLEARLY TEACHES speaks volumes

that is really hilarious considering the alternative you've bought into is not being saved at all until you somehow make yourself whatever you think is good enough, or keep yourself good enough forever, because one slip and suddenly you're unsaved.

there is no more sacrifice for sin.
you cannot crucify Christ over again.

what do you figure it means, then - one sin and that's it, chance blown?
or one sacrifice perfected forever everyone who is being made holy by Him?

if you don't trust Him, you don't believe Him.
Bingo..........like I said yesterday....a working for salvation loser....the truth offends for sure

@Chester You gave the right definition of irrevocable......and then I asked is Salvation a gift? Why won't you answer?

I will tell you why.....Because salvation is a GIFT and the GIFTS AND CALLING OF GOD ARE IRREVOCABLE<---THIS PROVES ETERNAL SECURITY WHICH YOU DENY!!!!!

Yes this group disputes that, I forgot about that, you see it does not fit into the "deny self" plan to be saved.

Ah! You have to give me a little time. I needed to help my daughter do some research for a car she want to buy - my internet rambling had to wait - and even now I only have a few minutes: After I am done - you will likely have more I need to answer - and I will not be back till tomorrow! :) You will have to be patient!

So you jumped in and strung two verses together before I could answer the question you asked - that is OK - because I like to have a lot of fun stringing verses together too . . . :)

First one:
I Cor. 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

So circumcision or uncircumcision is a "calling" and if the "gifts and calling" of God are irrevocable (Rom. 11:29 )then we will be circumcised or uncircumcised in heaven as we are here on Earth.

Second one:
And prophecy is a gift - and since the "gifts and calling of God" are irrevocable then that means if you have the gift of prophecy now you will have it for all eternity. !!! ??? but this is not what I Corinthians 13 says about prophecy: Verse 8 says: "But where there are prophecies, they will cease;"

And if you want more crazy ones that these, they sure are out there: all the cult groups get their doctrine by stringing verses together.
If you want to convince me of OSAS, you have got to show me a verse in its context that clearly says that once a person is saved they will always be saved.

I just did...the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE is clear enough salvation is a gift, we are CALLED to salvation and given ETERNAL LIFE not temporary......it is hard to convince those that deny truth!!
