I can't speak for God, but I think what he intended by giving us salvation apart from works, is that we will do good deeds out of love and not to earn something in return. Like children wanting to please their parents are forgiven for their mistakes, unlike workers who are expected to do their job perfectly.

Hmmmm I can see this thread started out talking about works but as usual all threads get derailed and off topic! I DO NOT understand the resistance against being a worker in God's fields. We know we CAN NOT EARN salvation! It's as if some think " I'm saved I'll sit back put my feet up and wait"! This is laughable and against the word! We are to evangelize with the word,help the poor and needy,support the fellowship of God's household,visit the prisions,hospitals,shut ins,widows and orphans. We are to do this because Jesus expects us to do the will of the Father as He did! Search the scriptures for in them you will always find the right way to walk in His will! 🙏🙏🙏

We went scuba diving, then played on some sea doos. And just had a relaxing fun day.

That would be fun....see some good fish?

Last time I rode a jet ski it would go about 70 and I was in a big turn and some fool shot out of a dock and I caught his wave and slammed the water and jacked my shoulder up bad.....took a year before I could pull a towel behind my back...was on 2007 and still have issues....should have had surgery

Right place right time......stopped a robbery in progress about an hour ago......some fool trying to break into a tax loan office........criminals are about as bright as the dirt in the potted plant next to the lounge I am on.........!! Broad daylight and acting about as suspicious as a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar 5 minutes before dinner........

Yeah some good size bass.. mine only hit 55

When I snorkled the Great Barrier reef you could see about 60 to 80 foot deep....was sooooo cool.......off of Port Douglas out of Queensland.....best day....loved it
