I think that most of y’all that live in the UK have a cuppa, but does anyone else enjoy the act of tea time? For us Americans it tends to be a fancy occasion with lots of scones, petit four and inordinately goofy sun hats at some tea house.

Personally I go to the English Rose tea room on special occasions and it is so good. My favorite thing is scones with Devonshire cream with some jam.

Isn't tea time about 4pm? I'm at w*rk at that time, and they take a dim view of stopping for a cup of tea. You can grab a cup and gulp it, but then get back to w*rk. Anything more than 17.3 seconds spent on tea is too long, because the fry hopper needs filling, the floor needs sweeping, the trash needs to be emptied and there's a soda spill on the lobby floor.

Sometimes with milk sometimes not..

Sometimes with Honey..

Sometimes with mint leaves..

Sometimes with sugar both natural or artificial..

Sometimes made in the tea pot with a strainer sometimes with a bag..

Sometimes made in a cup with a dangling bag..

Sometimes strong, Sometimes not..

Honestly I want to go to the tea room TODAY. Not really the funds for it unless it’s a special occasion haha.

my Dad always has it with milk
But problem is when you add cold milk to it, when the tea cools it makes it undrinkable.
I end up pouring the cold tea down the sink. I feel a bit bad for wasting it but I dont like drinking cold tea.

I prefer yum cha...chinese tea with dim sum. Preferably hot and fresh from the steamers.
