I wish I could write like you, and maybe someday.
I don't mind THEM feeling that way, throw it out, get rid of it, that is their choice and they will stand before God giving an account of what they deemed no longer relevant and what they deemed relevant. I just cant stand them "teaching" that way. How many "newly" come to the Lord souls, having never read it decide they are never going open the OT because it doesn't apply to them anyway? Do they sell "just the New Testament"? They are being robbed right before our very eyes.
How do you justify throwing out just the first 5 books considered "law". How do you build upon something that you have stripped of its foundation?

Think of it like this! They cannot, be reached! And, I also agree, they throw out "quite the distraction/s", for those who are seeking more!
This is because they can only see works produced by faith as one's striving in gaining, or maintaining salvation. and, not the "springboard" it is in the sanctification process!
Does this mean they are not saved? NO!
Does this mean they are more like "blind shepherds" in a ditch?
When they teach "Why work so HARD?" "Yer ALREADY saved!" "Isn't that good enough?!!?"Tis really sad, when ya thinks about it. They have "the clock!" and, yet? Cannot tell ya what time it is!

The stages are brilliant and beautiful, but we have an author and finisher of our faith who is and will finish the work in us!

Everything about it, From where they were told to put it. What was around it, What was in it. Who was aloud to come near it, and where the presence of God was. What seperated the place where Gods presence was and the rest of the tent, and who was aloud to enter in, and what they had to do. Even the fact they had to tie a rope to the high priests ankle in case he did not c lean himself and died thus having to be pulled out before he made the most holy place unclean.

Well said! and yes I got a little choked up reading your description. looking at mine right now! The articles within it, each one literally representing volumes of details about the order no ORDER of our Creator! Our Heavenly Father is not casual about anything and when we approach Him we should do so soberly.

2. Yet the presence of God was so impossible to come near. Only the high priest, and only after he went through ritual cleansing even had an opportunity to enter the presence of God and at this, Only once a year, to make sacrifice for his people.

But in context. They help show our identity. And what was accomplished to break down that barrier between God and man
Its when we try to take them out of context and use them as a means of living righteous lives (sanctification) when we get into trouble. And what I am trying to speak against.
I love the law. I can talk in context about it all day long (unlike those who claim I HATE the law.)

I personally think new believers who have been exposed to some truth and show some maturity should all walk through the law in a deep meaningful way, It would help them understand how serious our desperation is. Andhelps us appreciate Gods grace so more deeply.
