The Church represents the Kingdom of God just as the Captain of the Hosts of the Lord. But too many of us have chosen sides.

Nazi Germany 1933 would be proud of you.
The soldiers who spilt their blood wouldn't.
Complacency never helps it's neighbor.
It is never complacency to put al in the Hands of our Father, howeever if you think the votes in Nazi Germany were legite, you are a very naive person. Talk to th efolksliving under bridges and in the streets and see how much influence they have.

It is all in our Father's Hnds never in ours.

There seems to be a bit of a disconnect here.
Again, what I said must be heard in truth and in righteousness. "The word of God is not liberal or conservative," i.e., Democrat or Republican. The bible is a conservative book (Holiness), in truth and in righteousness that requires the Believer to be awarded righteousness to understand the Word of God (Rom. 4:5), or it will be a make believe salvation.

God has given government as an instrument of His own...
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
(Rom 13:1 KJV)

But you seem to have a notion it is an alien to our lives, and not God ordained...at least I hope you pay taxes. vs 6.

ok thanks. After all, words are to say what they mean and mean what they say. I would have never equated holiness with conservative, but I see you do.
My understanding is that to begin to understand Scripture, one must be born again...

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(1Co 2:9-14 KJV)

But I think we are getting off topic :)

Remember, Ephesians 5:9 says that the Fruit of the Spirit (produced by the Holy Spirit) is only found in three areas; Goodness, Righteousness, and Truth. Therefore why do Democrats and Republicans vote for people without these fruits? Why do those who say they are Born-again approve of these things?

Roe v. Wade Approved By Republican Appointees. A 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion by a 7-2 vote. Six of the seven justices in the majority were Republican. This also includes same sex marriage - Republicans legalized same sex marriage.

Benito Mussolini said, "if you pluck a chicken one feather at a time, people don't notice."

Let me try to refocus us back on topic. Freedom of speech is tied in with freedom of religion.
When that freedom goes, so goes your right to freely express the Gospel and to post your views on Forums like this.
With this ever encroaching restraint on free speech and hence, proclamation of the Gospel, what do you suggest?

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

A bit different topic though, but I usually go with the lesser of the two evils...to not vote is a vote for the winner, regardless of who he or she is.
I agree....when such things a abortion, gay rights etc. are up in the air, to not vote is to support by default.....

I take it you are speaking extreme ends of the spectrum. But Ravelry? A knitting community? Having a policy thast includes 'anyone supporting Trump is a white supremacist! umm, no.
I'm right wing and no fascist. I voted Trump, but I grew up with and worked with all nationalities and races all my life.
I voted Trump for the sole purpose of keeping that snake Clinton out of office.....and for sure....the left wing Democratic party is the main enemy of this nation and Christianity!!

It seems to many the Father shares political views of the right or the left, fascisim or any other type of dicdtatorship while waving the national flag of the individual's home country.

Oh to be free of the prisoners of politics in our dialogues. Praise God our King and Head now and forevr, amen.

Hopefully you at least pray for the "political" prisoners being held in prisons and being tortured for the sake of the Gospel. After all, we don't want to get our holy clean hands dirty over 'political' issues...until we are sitting with them.

Hi brother JaumeJ, I hear you. One day we will not be divided, and that will be a great day. Made me think of this song, which I think refers to the Falkland's war? Anyway, I dedicate this song to you, and also any others reading here who also served. Thank you.https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...900C66A66DE9AA5CEF309&&mmscn=vwrc&FORM=VDRVRV
