here on CC in the BDF you are generally talking to people who actually know the scriptures fairy well and who think about them to a far greater degree and have thought about them far longer than your random addict off the street in a shelter.
when a person has no knowledge of a subject and rarely gives it any thought, it's generally pretty easy to convince them of whatever you like about it -- whether that be error or truth.
I think the swordsman knows that. I'm pretty sure he is being "facetious." At least that is how I took it.

I do not understand peoples problem with the Trinity. God is omnipresent in heaven and on earth and although He has always been with us, he, for our sakes made himself visible to us in the form of man.

i'm quite confused over this discussion. My point to PS was just because Jesus stopped functioning as our sacrifice, it does not detract from the persons of the Father and Holy Spirit, unlike his Queen analogy.
Three persons. You have the Trinity.

This is getting out of hand

1. Does the queen pray to herself?
2. Does the queen enter herself. Then tell the world that her daughter is well pleasing to her?

3. Does the queen pray to herself. That she will send herself after she departs?

Sorry man, Your examples do not help your case, they actually hurt your case because they can be used against you
The Queen is One person with several roles and God is One God with three roles.

Its not a problem with the trinity

It is a problem with your interpretation of the trinity

The queen does not talk to herself.

You need to step back for a minute and listen to yourself and what you are responding to. And then answer why the response you are making for our questions does not fit

If the Son and the Father are One, then maybe God does talk to himself. After all the Father is God and the Son is God. :)

So he said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, you will know that 'I Am Who I Am' (Jehovah); then you will know that I do nothing on my own authority, but I say only what the Father has instructed me to say. (Joh 8:28)

This is true, because I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has commanded me what I must say and speak. (Joh 12:49)

Do you not believe, Philip, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I have spoken to you," Jesus said to his disciples, "do not come from me. The Father, who remains in me, does his own work. (Joh 14:10)[/QUOTE]

That sounds like sacrilege.
